lauren's POV: --Monday Morning--
I was getting ready, and getting dressed with the clothes I was given. It was like I was a real officer, which I guess I am but i'm not fully sure. I put my badge on and looked in the mirror, and it fit me perfectly since i've been with the cimorelli's i have grown so much i'm taller than Lisa. Which is pretty awesome since that means the people I perpatrate will think i'm older than 15. (i'm not sure if a fifteen year old can be on a police team)
I walked downstairs and then grabbed my backpack and showed everybody my uniform and everybody was impressed by the way I looked in it. "Well I will be leaving now." I said. "Oh and can somebody drive me?" I asked. "Sure i'm about to leave for work, and i pass right by the police station." Dad said. "Okay then." I said walking to the front door with dad.
We got to the police station, "By dad." I said. "lauren be careful." Dad replied. "Dad don't worry." I told him. Then I turned around and walked to the police station, then the chief came to me. "Welcome lauren, were about to meet in the conference room so you better go to your desk and get situated. " He said pointing to a desk. So after he left I went to the desk and sat down then the men that came to my house waved to me and gestured me to the conference room because were about to get started. So I walked to the room and sat down, next to what I heard his name was Max who is 26 years old. "Hi." He told me. "Hi, as you may know i'm lauren." I said shaking his hand.
''Okay let's get started." The chief said walking into the room. "But first let me introduce our youngest officer in training lauren who helped us take down those guys at the local High school, and she is only 15 so let's give her a round of applause." He said clapping his hands then the rest joined in.
"Thanks." I said.
"Tell us a little about you lauren." The chief told me.
"Well there's not much to tell, i'm adopted, ah i'm only 15 like he said and that's about it." I said smiling. "Well lauren we are glad to have you here." He responded.
"I'm glad to be here." I said.
"Well now let's get started, today will be a normal day we'll have people patrolling around California, and cops walking around because today there's nothing to bust or anything. So Max you are now partners with lauren okay and you are her teacher." Chief said. "So let's get started."
"Well i'm glad we already met, so you need to go to the chiefs office first to get your gear." Max told me getting up. So I went to the chiefs office, "So chief i'm here to get my gun." I said.
"Yes you are and be careful because your a newbie okay don't go wild." He said handing me a gun and a holster. Then I walked out and outside to the patrol car I was going in with Max.
"Since your knew i'm gonna be nice and let yo drive." Max said tossing me the keys.
"I only have my learners permit." I explained.
"I know that's why." he said getting in the car.
I started the car and backed out of the parking lot and was driving around then Max told me to park the car and that we were going to walk around. So we got out and I put the keys in my pocket, and we were walking around when I saw a guy get out of a car and grab a gun, "Max look that guy has a gun." I said motioning to the guy. "Okay we'll just head over casually-" He was saying until we heard gunshots go off then we ran to the gas station.
"Take your gun out." He told me.
"Okay." I said taking my gun out. Then we walked in and the guy was to busy taking money from the cash register to even notice us.
"Put your hands up were I can see them." Max called out.
The guy looked up and saw us, then grabbed the worker there. "Put the gun's down or I will blow his head off." The guy said yelling.
"How about you let the guy go and then we can talk about this." I said.
"Not happening." The guy said getting angrier.
"Come on you walk out of here without getting hurt or hurting anyone." Max called out.
"I'm not falling for it." The guy said pushing the worker away and was about to shoot when I felt my finger move and press the trigger then the guy fell. I stood there in disbelief, not believing that I just shot that guy, but I rushed over to him and started putting pressure on the wound, "This is 1644 we need a medic in the south gas station on Wilshire and Wilcox." (:I'm not sure if those are real street names:)
Max came over after checking with the worker. "Hey nice job we would both be dead if it wasn't for you." he said patting my back.
"Thanks, but can i have some help here." I said.
"Well the paramedics are here." He said pushing me away so they can get through. I stood up and walked outside and cleaned my hands off because there was blood soaked on my hands.
--after shift--
I got home with my patrol car cause they gave me one, and told me since I have my permit to drive then I can drive and take my drivers test tomorrow to get my license. And because i'm about to turn 16. But I went inside and sat down on the couch to see my sisters sitting there without noticing me. "Hey guys how's it going?" I asked surprising them. They all turned around, "Hey lauren so how was work?" Lisa asked me.
"Pretty good, It was on the news that me and my partner went to a gas station when gun shots went off, so we rushed in and told the guy to drop the gun, but he got mad and held the worker hostage, but he let the worker go and was about to shoot us but I pulled the trigger without realizing it and I shot him but he's in the hospital and he's in good condition." I told them.
"Wow on your first day and you already are good at what you do." The other lauren said.
"Yeah, I got a gun this morning and it's in my bag." I said motioning to my bag. "Oh and i'm taking my drivers test tomorrow."
"Wow, and that is the right time since your about to be 16." Katherine said.
"Yeah well i'm gonna go to bed i'm really tired." I said getting up and heading to the stairs.
"Night." Christina said.
"Night." Katherine said.
"Night." Amy said.
"Night." Dani said.
"Night." The other lauren said.
"Night." Lisa said last.
"Night." I said chuckling at how they went from one to the other to the other with saying good night.
I got in my pajamas and then put my gun in the drawer, then got in bed. And thought about the events that have happened the past couple hours, but after I was done I turned over on my side and slipped into a deep dark sleep.
