Christina's POV:
Today's the day when lauren gets her cast off, and we have a surprise for her. Were in the doctors office right now, and the doctor is yet to return to tell us if lauren's arm is healed or not, from the x-rays.
"So lauren I heard you like basketball." I said, cause this is what mom told me to say.
"Yeah I have been playing the past couple weeks, and i'm actually good at it." She said smiling. Just then the doctor came in, "So lauren can take her cast off." He said smiling.
"Thank god." lauren said sighing in relief.
"And if you come with me, we can take the cast off." He said smiling. lauren hopped off the bench and walked out with the doctor. She came back a few minutes later with the cast off her arm.
"You ready to go." Mom said.
"Yup, i'm ready as can be." lauren said smiling, and jumping up and down.
We walked out of the doctors office and drove home, when we got inside we all smelled pizza that Katherine has been cooking since she stayed home.
"Dinner's ready if you want some pizza." Katherine called out to us.
We all rushed to the kitchen and sat down and started eating. After a while mom looked at all of us, and then lauren got a weird look on her face.
"Okay so as you know since basketball already started at school, then we went ahead and signed lauren up for the recreational league basketball which starts tomorrow." Mom said smiling and looking at lauren. lauren dropped her pizza and looked at all of us, she hopped up and hugged mom.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you." She said jumping up and down. "Okay now who will like to take lauren to go get the proper shoes for basketball.
"I will." The other Lauren said since she just got her license.
"Okay but be careful." Mom said putting up a finger. Then we all laughed, both Lauren's grabbed there things and ran out the door.
Lauren's POV:
I volunteered because I wanted to spend quality time with my sister. I was driving down the road when lauren looked down at her phone and smiled, oh boy she's texting with Matty, because everytime she smiles at her phone it's Matty.
"So what kind of shoes do you want?" I asked her.
"Well my favorite color is blue but I will try to get the cheapest pair since I only have like fifty dollars." She said.
"Don't worry about it, i'm paying." I said smiling over at her.
"You don't have to." She said.
"Yes my treat." I said, when I pulled into the parking lot. We both hopped out and I side hugged her the whole time we were walking inside. She ran over to the shoes, while I tried to keep up with her because she is really fast.
I finally caught up to her and she was holding a pair of dark blue one's for about sixty dollars, not bad.
"That pair i'm guessing." I said.
She smiled back and shook her head, we walked back to the front and I paid for them. We got back out to the car, and drove home,when we got back we walked inside to see everybody doing there own thing.
"Hey people." I said calling out to everybody.
They all looked up and smiled then Alex came over and asked what kind of shoes lauren got.
"I got some Hyper Quickness shoes." She said opening the box and showing him.
I walked back to my room and took off my clothes and changed into pajamas and got in bed then Lisa and Dani came in and got in there beds.

Since lauren missed the practices, it was the first game and lauren apparently knew a couple of the girls from school. They were all shooting around when the buzzer went off and it was loud. They went to there own sides and then came out to the middle, and got in a circle around the middle of the court. Then the annoying loud buzzer went off, and they all started by the ref tossing it up and then the two kids in the middle smacking it to there teammates. lauren caught the ball and then ran to there side, she dribbled the ball then backed up behind the line and shot really hard and made it.
"Come on girls." We were all yelling from the bleachers.
Then during the third quarter lauren was dribbling the ball and then she passed the ball to one of her teammates. The teammate passed it to this one girl on the other team by accident and lauren stole it and shot and made it again. When the other team got down the court, they went to pass the ball and lauren jumped up and caught it but the person who the ball was getting passed to smacked lauren then pushed her, and was about punch her when lauren kicked her away since she was on the ground. The ref blew the whistle and then grabbed the girl away from lauren, lauren was holding her stomach because she got hit there a couple times. But she managed to get up and fell again but then built up some strength and ran to her place. After that the game was finished and they won and we were all cheering.
"Great job." I said when she walked over to us, then she gave hugs and highfives to her teammates. We got in the car and drove home, then lauren got in the shower came out and went to bed because she had school the next day.
