Chapter 19

Friday

Today was game day so I had to wear my cheer uniform and bow all day long. Later on tonight is the party so today was going to be a long day. I woke up a little late so I took a quick shower before putting on the uniform and white cheer shoes. Then I put my hair in a high ponytail and curled the ends and put in my bow. After that I put on eyeshadow, eyeliner, and red lipstick. It was a little breezy this morning so I grabbed an oversized white sweatshirt.

I drove to school and didn't see anyone outside so I assume everyone is in first period. I went into the school and grabbed my books from my locker when the bell to go to second period rang. I guess I was more than a little late. I turned to start walking to statistics when I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. When I turned back around it was Johnny

"Oh hi" 

"Hey. You look cute" Johnny complimented me

"Aw thanks"

"How come you were late this morning?"

"Overslept"

"You still look tired"

"That's because I am"

"Do you want me to get you coffee later?"

"Yes please"

"Ok" he said with a smile

"Thank you"

"Of course princess. I'd kiss you but then I'd have red all over me all day"

"It's smudge proof" I said before kissing my hand and turning my palm to him to show there's no red. "See" I said before giving him a kiss on the cheek. "See you in culinary"

"See you"

I walked to statistics and sat next to Ali and Susan. Mrs. Lawton decided she was going to give us a pop quiz today

"Do you know what we're even learning in this class?" Susan asked me and Ali

"Kinda" I replied. "I know enough to pass" I said with a giggle

"Did you study the notes?" Ali asked Susan

"Of course not, I didn't know we were having a quiz." She exclaimed

"If you reviewed the notes, you'll be fine." Ali told her. The teacher came around and handed each of us. I scanned the paper and there was only one problem on the paper. So you either get it right and pass or you fail. The question was actually simple; it just had a lot of parts to the question. I was one of the first people so I just put my head down and waited for Ali and Susan to finish so we could talk.

"Hey y/n?" Susan whispered

"Yeah?"

"Did you get 7.85?"

"Yes. Did you make sure to put units?"

"I think so"

"So y/n are you excited for the game"
