Friday

It's been a few days since Daniel and I's argument and I respected what he said and stayed at my own house after getting off the bus. I haven't hung out with guys in the past few days because I didn't have anyone to cover for me, or a way there since I lost Daniel's bike. To be completely honest at first I was having a hard time processing what Daniel had said. I haven't seen him that angry with me since that one time we argued in front of the school. But now I am weirdly ok with it. Many people have had something rude to say about me during the school year that I just assume that there's a chance someone's gonna say something about me. Doesn't mean it hurts less, but it makes it more expectable.

I was working on my essay for English when I heard tapping coming somewhere in my room. I put down my notebook, reached under my bed, and grabbed my bat. I held it tightly in my grip and paced around my room looking around for what made that sound.

When I didn't hear the tapping, I sat back down on my bed with the bat nearby. I went back to writing. I was in the middle of a sentence when my window opened. I screamed out of nervousness. I held the bat and was ready to swing

"Don't take another step or I swear to god I'll bash your brains out"

"Real intimidating hot mama, would've been better if your voice wasn't shaking" Dutch said crawling through my window

"Jesus, Dutchess you scared the shit out of me."

"You didn't see me there?"

"No, it's dark outside you creep. How'd you get up here?"

"I used the fire escape"

"Oh my gosh, you're such a criminal."

"If I'm a criminal what does that make you"

"The warden. Always keeping you in check." I laughed. "What are you even doing here?"

"We're having a sleepover"

"I'm still grounded and doubt Johnny would be ok with that"

He walked back to the window and yelled out of it. "Johnny, are you ok with that?"

"Hey stop yelling you're gonna get me in trouble"

After a few seconds Johnny and the rest of the guys had made their way into my room. "We're not sleeping over" he said

"What's with the bat?" Tommy asked

"I thought you guys were intruders"

"So you were gonna attack them with a bat?" Bobby asked with a light laugh

"Yeah I figured it was a good use of defense ever since that incident with Barbara" I said

"Are you guys still fighting?" Tommy asked me

"No because she has that teacher following her around, plus I can't risk getting in trouble"

"Y/n we got you snacks" jimmy said going through his backpack

"thanks Jimmy, but again, what are you guys doing?"

"Well you haven't been able to hang out with us and I only get to see you during English and lunch, so I wanted to come see you but of course these idiots decided to join." Johnny explained, sitting beside me on the bed

"Aww I love you guys" I smiled. I got up to go close my window when I heard the tapping again. I saw a pair of hands on the windowsill.

"Oh my god guys if I would've known we were gonna be climbing I would've worn different shoes" Debbie said, her head entering the window
