Chapter 58

Tuesday  ( I think this is the correct day the break is supposed to end but Idk if I've been counting right :/ )

The sound of my dad dropping pots and pans in the kitchen woke me up from my last few minutes of sleep before my alarm was set to go off. I groggily found my fuzzy slippers before making my way to the kitchen. I braced myself for the bright lights from the ceiling fan that hangs above the table.

"Did I wake you?"

"Yeah you did, but it's fine. I had to get up anyway"

"Sorry. I'm feeling better, meaning I have to go back to work, so I figured we could have breakfast together. It's been awhile since we done"

"Ok that sounds fine, I'll just get dressed real quick and I'll be right out"

I did my full shower regimen and facial routine, then I walked back into my room and ruggaged through my clothes until I picked the outfit I wanted. I decided to wear a baby blue sweater, high waisted bell bottom jeans, and my white sneakers. I put my hair up except for two strands in the front, so it showed off the tattoo on the back of my neck. I put on my necklace from Johnny and silver stud earrings. I did my eye makeup and a little bit of lip gloss. I put on some deodorant and spritzed myself with my Victoria's Secret perfume.

I went back into the kitchen and took my seat at the small table. In the middle of it was a plate of fruit, French toast, bacon, and eggs.

"Wow by breakfast you really meant breakfast. I was expecting bagels or sausages from the box."

"Well i wanted to make a good breakfast for us"

"What's so special about today?"

"Nothing, I just wanted to chat over breakfast"

"Alright. What do you want to talk about?"

"Karate season is over huh?"

"Yeah that ended after the tournament"

"Well are you going to sign up again next season"

"No"

"You didn't like it?"

"No I did, I like it a lot. I just don't think that place is going to be open anymore..."

"Oh" he said "What about cheer?"

"Cheer is over too, it was only for the fall season and the pep rally. It's different from competitive cheer" I told him. "There might be another time we cheer, but thats if we have spirit week or another pep rally for prom"

"I see. Did you wanna do another sort or chi it's then since your other ones ended"

"I don't know. I didn't really think of that"

"Maybe you should check out the other programs your school has. What about the college search, how's that going?"

"Good actually, I sent in my applications through the school"
