Iceland smirked. It was time.
After planning it for a long time, he would finally get his revenge on Norway.
It was midnight. Everyone was asleep in their hotel room, even Mr. Puffin.
Iceland held back a soft giggle, triggered by the childish excitement of doing something he knew it was bad.
But it was different.
Hong Kong was more than a toy forbidden by his big brother. He was more special. He was the only one who understood him, and the one he really loved.
The whole plan had been Hong Kong's idea, and he was too excited about it.
The Icelandic stroked the feathers of Mr.Puffin's tail.
-Bye, buddy... I'll be back at sunrise. -He whispered to his bird.
He tied a thick rope to the leg of the bed, and tossed the other end down the window.
He looked down, with a big grin in his face. He grabbed the rope and started his down.
He helped himself down trying to put his feet against the wall.
The silence and the darkness of the night surrounded him. He smiled. It was strange to scape into an unknown city, at night, in his own... but the atmosphere was quiet, and Hong Kong shouldn't be far from there.
When he was about two meters above the ground, he jumped down.
He dusted off his clothes and looked around.
The hotel was placed in a main street, specially used to foreigners, so it was calm and quiet. Only some windows from the many houses let the light inside show itself outside, making a beautiful collage of white, pale, and yellow lights.
He sighed happily, finally admiring the beauty of Beijing.
He wandered around the nearby streets, looking for his Asian boy.

In Hong Kong's case was much easier to run away in the middle of the night.
He didn't have to climb or down to get to the street.
The only obstacle he had was Taiwan, usually awake at midnight, doing stuff on the Internet. Stuff she never talked about.
To get out his house, the Cantonese had to pass right in front of Taiwan's room, which was often half open.
He gulped, trying to walk silent and quick at the same time.
Taiwan's gaze moved from the laptop's screen to the door, noticing the motion of Hong Kong's slight shadow.
But it wasn't until Hong Kong unlocked the front door when Taiwan got up from his bed, curious.
-Hong?
The teen widened his eyes, startled by Taiwan's sweet, giggly, sudden voice, but forcing him to don't move or make a sound.
-Hong? What are you doing up?
She tapped his shoulder, almost making him jolt.
-A-Ah! T-Tai!
-Where are you going? -She giggled.
-Going?
-Yeah
-What makes you think I'm going anywhere?
-Hong
-What?
-It's half past midnight, you're dressed properly, and you were unlocking the door. You know, slight hints.
-... Goddamnit, Tai...
