Chapter 5

"Ari-thank you" Calli shouted, bowing her head with a light fumble in step. It is currently day two of her stay in Germany and so far she has only been able to find Kiara's location to the apartment complex. Which is a good thing only to realize that there are several floors each with several rooms. And for some reason the guard of the area refuses to give her information of which floor Kiara's staying, stating that it was of the "security of the residents".
Dragging her feet she looked at her phone. Currently it is 6pm and even though the sun is out the beer park looks buzzingling with people already. Both foreigners and usuals flocking to the park each with their own foaming alcoholic beverage in the jugs sided with some delicious snacks.
I guess I could take a sip or two Calliope thought as she walked closer to the area.
Taking a seat near one of the stalls she felt the breeze in the air. It is currently the beginning of summer and the night breeze has started entering. Due to the perfect location of the park the air gives a perfect chill. Not to cold that it would make a person to sick but just enough to feel the warmth of some of the beers.
If Germany is known for something it would be their alcohol. Having a variety of over a dozen beers each with its own rich history and flavor. One can spend a quite a while enjoying their time here. Something that Calliope would love to take advantage of.
And that she is doing. Ordering her first jug with some cashews on the side Calliope began with a light sip, trying to immerse herself with the flavor. After doing several streams of nothing but fine wines Calliope was lightly repulsed at first but in the end she enjoyed that sip. And from there came a gulp, then two gulps and before you know it she finished the jug.
Wiping the foam from her mouth with her jacket Calliope gave a light belch from her mouth. That really hit the spot she thought tucking a smile from her lips. Time to get another round.
