Chapter 12

                      "Ina? How do you know if a person is in love?" Kiara asked, a voice a mix of genuine curiosity with a hint of actually serious.
                       It has been 3 days since Calli told Ina her feelings towards Kiara and so far nothing has changed. The only difference, one could argue is the frequency in which the two perform collab  streams but seeing as they are literally live ins it makes sense to the common eye. Until a recent experience that made Kiara start to wonder. Has Calli actually started feeling something for her?
                           "Well it depends on the person. Sometimes it would be the occasional glances. Maybe even a flirt or two." Ina explained in detail. A light grin forming on her left lip. They're coming together. Slowly but surely. Although something didn't add up. Calli has been having "tsundereaper" like affections for Kiara for a long time. What sudden change could have happened for Kiara to start actually having that idea.
                             Kiara gave a nod before asking her next string of questions. "Well then how about jealousy? How would you know if they are jealous?"
                             "Kiara is this about the thing that happened in stream today?" Ina asked the pieces forming
                              "How did you know?!"  Kiara shouted, shocked over how Ina saw it and while blushing lightly on her cheeks.
                              "Well I saw a couple highlights on youtube while scrolling. From what I heard it was just Calli having a sudden interruption with your apex stream with Ollie. Care to explain your side of the story?" Ina replied, trying to get the final piece of the puzzle

                               "Hey Kiara wanna learn some Indonesian?" Ollie asked out of the blue, sticking her tongue out as her undead arms moved around her keyboard.
                                 The two decided to collab that day. Since Kiara didn't know how to play apex Ollie decided to make the stream an apex stream. Though the stream was called as a "teaching Kiara to play apex stream" the real appeal came from their personalities as one could describe them as flirty and a bit dirty minded.
"Sure", Kiara said casually, unknowing to Ollie's tactic. Cussing in her breathe as she just died to a rooftop camper.
To the innocent who are unaware. The tactic known as "do you wanna learn some Indonesian?" has been used by Ollie to get her fellow idols at her side. Tricking them to say things like "I love you" or "marry me" while hiding them as simple compliments you say to your friends.
Calli knew this of course. Being one of her long line of victims she sat in the corner of Kiara's office, watching her in the background, glaring so hard that it gave the Phoenix chills once in a while.
At that moment of Kiara agreeing to Ollie's trap Calli jumped from her seat and shouted "don't!".
Looking back at Calli, Kiara raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong with learning some Indonesian?"
Ollie, unaware of the confrontation the two are having continued on. "Cool so uhmm if you want to say you're a great friend Indonesian you have to say-"
"Olieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Calli shouted to the top of her lungs. A shout so loud that it stopped Ollie in her tracks confused and scared.
"Uh Calli what are you doing?" Kiara asked feeling confused while simultaneously smirking. Is she jealous?
"H-hi Calli-senpai! I forgot you were roo-roommates with Kiara-senpai. Uhmm did you here everything that I just said?" Ollie asked, fearing the wrath of the reaper. She got caught on fuck , Ollie to herself. Blushing lightly as she bit her lip.
"Playing your old tricks huh Ollie?" Calli said sitting herself right beside Kiara.
"Ehe. Maybe?" Ollie said, sticking her tongue out in a very anime fashion. She has long died in apex at this point so currently all her focus was trying to win Kiara.
"Well you can't win then." Calli continued wrapping her arms around Kiara like a child to her stuffed toy. "Because she's mine."
"Huh?" Said Ollie.
"What?!" Shouted Kiara along with everyone in chat.
"I-I mean as a friend yeah. You can't take my best friend away from me. She's mine." Calli said stuttering while trying to hide her blush but spectacularly failing.
"N-now you better stay back. Anyway, I'm gonna go for a walk. See you later Kiara." Calli continued, robotically standing up while leaving the room in a quickened pace.
"Uhmmm, wanna play another round Ollie?"

"Yeah and that's it. " Kiara said finishing her side of the story. Surprising as it may, her side isn't as different from what everyone saw. The only difference was that there is now confirmation that Calli was with Kiara the whole of that stream, glancing at what Kiara was doing.
"Kiara, that is definitely jealousy. Are you sure she just thinks of you as a friend?" Ina asked trying to get Kiara to realize Calli's love.
"I don't know. This was not her first time acting 'jealous' but this is my first time seeing her that mad so I don't know if she still thinks of me as a friend or- or something more." Kiara said remembering all the times she confessed her love to her. Though it always ended up being platonic she didn't care as at the end of the day they were still best friends and Calli didn't seem to despise Kiara for liking her, maybe just a wince or to but nothing more.
"From what I see Kiara I think Calli is in love with you. But all she needs is a little push." Ina said sipping her Dr. Pepper. Dissatisfied as it has lost its cold from their long conversation. "Like perhaps a candlelight dinner with you confessin in the end?"
"Oh I see where you're getting at yeah ok, but how do we do that?" Kiara asked now thinking of possible date locations.
"Leave that to me. I have an idea."
