An eternity with you: A Takamori fanfic

Chapter 9 part 1

Several months ago. Before Calli went on this massive escapade, before she began panicking, Calli had a thought that many YouTubers, streamers and predecessors have thought before her. During a hypothetical moment when you come unprepared and in dire need to meet a quota stream/video what do you do? Well to many experienced in these fields there are many options. You could just say screw it and apologize to your community (more of to yourself really) for the absence of a video. Promising that you will make up to them with a banger.
Another option would be that of an on the spot vlog/stream. A hasty solution that relies on the very few resources you contain, half a pack of red bulls ( two liters of coffee would be fine as well) and an all nighter. During which is created a hasty masterpiece, or a terrible video, depends on the algorithm really.
Or the third option. Contacting her manager Enma-Chan, Calli set up a list of stream ideas. In which in each of these ideas are a possible stream she can do on the spot, granted with a bit of pre-preparation for a basic set-up and starter script, not that the workaholic reaper would mind. Or to put it simply Calli new a scenario where she would need to make a stream on the spot would happen. And to combat this she made a just in case set-up. Let's see if this "set-up" goes well.

                             Grabbing only her "essential" devices (meaning a tablet, usb and her laptop) Calli busted through her and door headed for Kiara's place. Due to Kiara being of walkable distance to Calli's place Kiara agreed to lend Calli her stream set up. Albeit lacking some parts in which Calli can supply.
                             Calli gave a stern knock as Kiara opened the door to her place. As they walked into Kiara' work office (which she called the CEO's headquarters of K.F.P.) Kiara pointed to Calli to her seat. Many people may not be aware of this but most vtuber set-ups are quite similar to most streaming set up. Only difference being the applications most of them use since Vtbers usually add a motion rig and augmented reality modifications to their sets to make it so that they look the "mythical" design that fans oh so adore. (Author's note: this set up is fiction and not based on real vtuber rigs)
                               As Calli sat upon Kiara's gamer chair (which is for now a black standard office chair that can recline) the two of them (Calli and Kiara) began working like clockwork. A teamwork only seen when done for hundreds of years of experience. And they were done. The stream was simple. The idea Calli thought of using was a manga/light novel reading stream. Letting her chat vote on what to read Calli was planning to read manga live on stream. After all it only requires the rig/set-up, the manga/light novel (courtesy of book walker) and the live chat. It was even better timing she thought, tugging a grin at the edge of her lips since Kiara was there and the two of them can read lines together with Calli being the main protagonist reader and Kiara substituting the many other characters that there may be.

"Sup deadbeats" Calli's voice spoke into the mic as the chat started to burst into chaos with emotes and texts that could only be seen for half a second or even less mostly the replies are hi's back.
"I have a special guest with us today deadbeats" Calli spoke as Kiara popped up in frame showing a happy smile to the burst of the chat going to further levels of insane along with the first round of superchats.
                                  "So deadbeats today as you can see by the title we're going to do a manga slash light novel reading stream." Calli continued as she updated the description with a bit of information.
                                   "But instead of me choosing I'll let you guys choose instead" Calli spoke changing the background once more to a purple background with three different series.
                                     "Kiara " Calli spoke as if she was a host to a show. "Would you do the honors and introduce to the deadbeats the titles".
                                      "Sure thing" Kiara said as she turned on a red laser only to realize that the stream wouldn't be able to see it. So instead she pushed herself beside Calli with a childish grin as she began introducing the names. Calli lightly blushed at that but hid it from the stream. While the chaos was seen on there side luckily chat only saw their models moving left and right in a rapid manner for a bit then the sudden change of the mouse into a glowing red dot.
                                        "In the first corner we have re:zero a story bout uhhh a man who gets reincarnated into a new life where he can come back from the dead. And next we have Kaguya-sama love is war (the chat erupted with yesses) a romcom where love. Is. War. And now finally we have what you guys have waited the for. Something that has been on my chat for a while hehe. Bloom into you." Calli fell from her seat at that moment only to open her eyes to realize that what she heard was right. She thought she added 'My dad was the queen of all Vtubers?' she was sure of it. Oh well she thought I guess I have to play along with this for now.
