Chapter 16

The Gura, Ina and Amelia household was in a chaotic state today with the couple running back and forth with phone calls and delivery checkups from Amazon while Ina doodled a sketch for her final idea of the date set-up. In fact  they were so busy that they didn't notice Kiara entering, giving everyone a scare as she accidentally slammed the door.

                   "What the fuck?! No not you don't worry." Gura shouted with one hand on her chest checking her heartbeat while the other shoving her cellphone on her ear. The other two snapped out almost simultaneously, giving their greetings before immediately going back to work.

                   "Pardon my intrusion ladies. I was just checking how were you guys doin? Oo, is anyone eating this?" Kiara asked slumping herself onto the couch grabbing a leftover box of chicken nuggets she found on their table.

                  Ina gave a glance at Kiara before standing up to join her. "We're doing cramming the final bits but we should be fine by tomorrow. That reminds me, you have to distract Calli the whole morning to not leave your apartment so that we can easily start bringing things to and from the lobby."

                   Kiara gave a salute to the laughter of Ina before standing up herself to microwave her nuggets. Ina stayed back on the couch. She snapped her fingers to summon her tentacles as they immediately began their duties to make her position more comfortable with things like bringing her doctor pepper to her hands or getting the extra pillows that fell on the floor.

                     The microwave dinged for Kiara's nuggets as she grabbed them to look back at the "human" that was Ina, her tentacles basically took over the entire couch, constantly writhing and twitching, finding for their priestess the optimal seating position. Moving towards the couch Kiara scooted the tentacles a little in order to give her a comfortable seating as she opened the television to a random channel.

                    Ina snapped her fingers once more, grabbing her tablet and pen as she continued doodling the sketch. "Kiara what time can we start preparing inside the lobby" she asked idly.

                   "5pm later, around the time of mine and Calli's collab stream." She said munching delightfully on her nuggets.

                     As 5pm rolled about the EN girls began leaving towards the penthouse, each carrying some of Ina's materials on their two hands. This was only the first of many items however as they still have Amelia's stuff and the food. They will order tomorrow. The transport took two tiring trips of carrying all the equipment by hand and making sure as to not make it fall.

                    By the time they arrived back onto the penthouse Gura's legs finally gave out as she dumped her part of the equipment by their small pile as she fell to her knees to take a break. She closed her eyes for a brief moment taking in the little moments of peace before getting suddenly interrupted by Amelia shouting into a megaphone without a care in the world.

                        "Gura get your ass back together we gotta get to work!"  Amelia knew what she was doing. Grinning at the sight of her girlfriend sudden shocked expression as she immediately fell flat onto the floor. Amelia fell too, rolling on the floor laughing as Gura started shouting at her for giving such a fright.

                          Ina ran up to them to see the commotion only to give a sigh. She grabbed onto to the couple's arms as she pulled them up gesturing them to work. They still haven't built the place after all.

                           "Damn this stupid fucking connection" Amelia cursed under her breath, waiting for the movie Kiara requested to download. In order to test their mini cinema experience Amelia needed the movie in question, Shrek 2. Due to how shit her pocket wifi was she instead started to look around their mini date setup.

                            Ina's work was still half done with the fold out table placed but not decorated along with scraps of paper and failed oragamis scattered across the floor.

                            Ina left for that day to do a stream she planned earlier while Gura left as well, checking up on their food she ordered for the next day. Both of them agreed to comeback later that day however to watch the movie which they won't be able to the next day due to their hiding spot.

                              Grabbing her iPad Amelia began scrolling possible games she wanted to play before deciding to play piano tiles for a bit. It wasn't because she was good at them in fact it she was terrible, having been decent but not as great as her peers. Instead her reasoning was more humble. She wanted to impress her girlfriend.

                               She started simple songs for practice, things like twinkle twinkle and Für Elise before getting into the real stuff. For in Amelia's perspective to truly impress her Gf she's gotta do crazy "hard" music.

                                She took another check at the laptop to see that it has moved... by ten percent. By her calculations she'd probably be able to squeeze in a couple more plays.

                                 "All right" Amelia muttered to herself furrowing her eyebrows as she switched from her contacts to glasses.

                                 "It's Hatsune Miku time".

                                   It was probably a couple minutes past 6pm as Gura came back to the top floor, carrying two pizzas (Pepperoni and Cheese) in her hands. She struggled a bit considering their size being twice her width but to her stubbornness she decided to bring the pizzas without any assistance.

                                     As the elevator whirred open however her struggles immediately disappeared however, as she heard gremlin screams of anguish from her partner.

                                     In an instant Gura rushed to leave the pizzas on the foldout table. Rushing to as fast as her legs can carry her. When she appeared by her side her worries suddenly disappeared only to be replaced by an immediately confused complexion.

                                      Amelia was on the floor raging to herself as her phone lay on the ground as well, miraculously still fine but her case in pieces. On the screen lay a score of zero crown out of three on the song sebonzakura. Her fifth attempt at the song, not that Gura knew anyway.

                                     "Ame what happened here?" Gura shouted in fear as she sat beside her girlfriend patting her on her shoulder.

                                   Amelia looked at Gura with tears held back. "I just wanted to impress you-"

                                  Gura interrupted her with a long kiss on her lips. As their lips departed Gura's cheeks reddened as she tried to hide it with her hands. "Y-you don't have to you're already impressive. Idiot."
                                
                                    Ina arrived shortly after as the three ended their night with a Shrek watch-a-long with a couple pizzas. Tomorrow was the day of the date and even though the group worried the success Ina assured them that Calli will win their girl. Hopefully.
