I have to tell them, but I'm scare out of my mind. she thought. It's been a couple days since she got the message from Justin and Shawzy making a promise to her. She looks down at her hand and sees the promise ring on her finger.
*Flashback*
"Katie I have something to give you." Shawzy says. He pulls out a box from his coat pocket. He opens the box to reveal a black and red ring. "Katie Keith. I promised you the day that Justin sent you that message, that I would help you with your child. If you take this ring...a promise ring, it would confirm my promise to you."
"Yes, Shawzy." Katie says. He takes the ring out of the box and slides it onto her finger.
*End of flashback*
She walks downstairs to see Duncs and Kelly sitting at the table.
"Hey Katie." Duncs says.
"Hey, I have to tell you guys something." Katie says.
"What is it?" Kelly asks.
"I'm pregnant and before you start Duncs it's not Shawzy's baby. I'm pregnant with my ex boyfriend baby." Katie says.
"That's wonderful! You would be a fantastic mother."
Duncs doesn't say a word but instead he walks out of the room.
"Does anyone else know?" Kelly asks.
"Yeah, my friends Hannah and Amy and Shawzy knows."
*****
"Duncs, get your head out of your pants." Kaner says as he skates by him.
Duncs weant playing like he normal does. He was still shocked about finding out Katie was expecting a kid. Shawzy skates out onto the ice and he goes up to him.
"Hey Duncs." Shawzy says.
"How long has Katie been pregnant?" Duncs asks.
"Three weeks at most. She found out three days after she came here."
Q blows his whistle and practice starts.
