Fighter Boy

Chapter 21

"Bye Duncs!" Kelly, Katie and Shawzy yell. Duncs was heading to the Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Katie was happy for him but also sad, she really want to go and win gold for Canada with Hannah and Amy. Kelly closes the door and Shawzy and Katie go up to her room.

They get up to her room and Shawzy wraps his arms around her waist, placing his hands on her stomach. She was about two months pregnant, so she didn't have a bump yet. Shawzy places a kiss on her forehead and she places one on his cheek. She starts to smile as she thinks about yesterday.

*Flashback*

"Watch it!" Katie yells at Shawzy.

"What? Someone can't take a little snow to the face?" he yells back at her as he is skating another lap around the ice rink.

"I can take the snow but you almost knock me over."

She starts to skates, trying to catch up with him. She was in reaching distance of him and grabs his arm. She pulls him back and they both fell to the ground. With Katie somehow falling on top of Shawzy.

"I love you." he says as the were on the ice. She leans her head into his shoulder.

"I love you too." she says.

"So Katie, would you like to be my girlfriend?"

"I would love to be your girlfriend."

They get up and skate around on the ice. He leans into her and kisses her before they skate off the ice.

*End of flashback*

"What do you want to do?" Shawzy asks, breaking Katie out of her thoughts

"Don't care." she says.

"Movie?"

"What movie?"

"You pick."

"Slapshot?"

"Sure"

They go downstairs and Katie grabs the movie from the shelf. She put it in and makes popcorn as the ads run. She grabs two bottles of water and the popcorn. She walks over to Shawzy, who was sitting on the couch. She sits on the couch and puts the popcorn between them. She hands one of the water bottles to him and places her head on his shoulder. He places his arm around her and leans his head on top of hers.

Katie wakes up and realize she was still on the couch. She feels two arm around her and looks over to see she Shawzy sitting there, sleeping. She kisses him on the cheek and he wakes up.

Kelly walks in the room with Colton in her arms. 

"Morning you two." Kelly says but the two of them didn't hear her. She continues to the kitchen and puts Colton in the high chair.

The two of them look over to see Kelly standing there, feeding Colton.

"That's going to be you soon." Shawzy whispers into Katie's ear.

"Yeah" Katie whispers back.
