Chapter 35

"Let me out of here! I want to go home! I want to see Shawzy!" Katie screams, banging on the door. But since Justin nor Jason were home, it was pointless. She ran back down the stairs and jumps on the bed. She starts to cry and eventually cries herself to sleep.

She has been in Justin's basement for almost a month and has hated every single moment of it. He has tried so many moves on her and even slapped her a couple times.

She wakes up the next morning and goes to the door. She hears Justin and Jason leave the house. She tries to open the door, knowing it would be lock.

But not today, she turns the door knob and the door opens. She walks out into the open room. She looks for any sign of where see is. She sees the television and turns it on. A channel comes up and it was the news. They were speaking French and the girl says Montreal. She runs to the window and sees the house was on a the corner of Rivel Dr. and Webse Ave. (Made up street names). She walks to the table and sees her phone. She turns it on and goes to her contacts.

Who can I call? Shawzy? Maybe once I'm free. Kaner? Heck no. Ah, Bolland! He lives in Toronto.

She dials his number and puts the phone to her ear.

"Hello?" Bolland asks.

"Bolland!" Katie says, happy it's him.

"Katie?"

"Yes, it's me. Listen Bolland I need your help."

"Sure, what is it?"

"I need you to get to Montreal as quickly as you can. I need you to come to the house on Rivel Dr. and Webse Ave. I'll explain everything once you get me."

"Will do."

The phone line goes silent and she hangs the phone up. She runs downstairs and grabs the clothes she came in. She ran back upstairs and sat on the couch.

A couple hours later, there was a knock at the door. Katie cautiously goes over to the door and looks out the peak hole. She sees Bolland standing there. She opens the door and hugs him.

"Bolland, thank goodness you're here." Katie says. They break apart and Bolland looks down at her belly.

"You're huge!" Bolland says.

"Bolland!"

She runs to the table and grabs her phone and clothes. She runs back to him.

"What happened to you?" he asks. She has a big black and blue bruise on her left arm and cheek.

"I'll explain in the car, now let's go." she says. She closes the front door and they go to Bolland's car. They get in and he starts to drive off.

"Now, what happened?" he asks.

"My ex boyfriend abused me." she says

"Why? How?"

"It happened two weeks ago...."

*Flashback*

"What's wrong with you? Why don't you want to make love?" Justin asks.

"Because I don't love you anymore!" Katie says, she was laying on the bed and Justin was standing at the foot of the bed.

"How dare you say that!" He slaps her across the face.

"It's true! Shawzy has loved me more in the five-ish months that I've known him then you have in the year and a half!"

He slaps her in the arm, "You are NEVER allowed to say that name again!"

"Get the puck out of here otherwise the stars will be flying."

"No! Like you will hurt the father of you child."

Katie grabs Justin by the collar and was about to punch him what Jason yells from upstairs,"Justin! Someone is here for you!" She let's go of him and he goes upstairs.

*Flashback ends*

Katie was about to cry. Bolland pulls over and starts to cradle her.

"You should call Duncs, let him know your safe." Bolland says.

"I think I'm going to call Shawzy first, he's probably more worry than Duncs...if that's even possible." she says.

The both start to laugh at what she said and she grabs her phone. She dials Shawzy's number.

"Katie! Where are you? Where have you been?" Shawzy asks.

"Andrew...it's so good to hear your voice." she says "I'm with Bolland on our way back to Toronto. Justin capture me and took me to Montreal..."

"I'm coming to get you, I'll be there as soon as I can."

The phone line goes dead. She hand up with Shawzy and calls Duncs.

"Katie!" Duncs says

"Duncs!" Katie says

"Where are you? Are you safe?"

"I'm on my way to Toronto, Bolland is with me and yes I'm safe now."

They continue to talk until Bolland pulls up to a diner. She hangs up and looks at him.

"You hunger?" he asks.

"Yeah" she says.

They go into the diner and get something to eat. After they were done, they get back in the car.

They arrive at Bolland's house and got out. They go inside and Bolland grabs some of his clothes. She changes and he lets her sleep on his bed.
