(Book 1 of Coven)
After leaving Mystic Falls once before, Willow and Selene Sawtell never thought they'd return but they did and they are quickly pulled into the reoccurring events that seem to happen in town.
At least it's not something they aren't...
Ambrose and Willow were at Elena's after Willow got a call from Stefan about Elena getting attacked by someone which happened to be the guy she ran over. The two were in the living room with Stefan and Elena as well as Damon who was pacing in front of them.
"How was he able to get in?" Willow asked Elena. "He was invited in." She replied. "He posed as a pizza delivery guy last night." Stefan added. "Well, he gets points for that. Did he say what he wanted?"
"No. He was too busy trying to kill me."
"And you two have no idea who this is?" Stefan asked Damon and Willow. "No." Damon answered to which Stefan gave him an unconvinced look, "Don't look at me like that. I told you we had company."
"You think there's more than one?" Elena asked, worried. "Most likely." Ambrose said and Willow nodded in agreement. "He was invited in." Stefan pointed out, Elena was in more danger now that the vampire had entry. "Then we get him tonight. You up for it?" Damon asked Elena.
"What do I have to do?"
"Have Stefan take you to the school dance and we see if he turns up." Ambrose said. "That's a bad idea." Stefan frowned, they were making her bait. "Stefan as long as this guy's around he can come and go in this house and you aren't always here to protect her." Willow bluntly told him.
"I'll do it." Elena said she knew Willow was right, as long as the vampire was around she wasn't safe. "I'll be with you guys. I'll be safe." She said to Stefan when she saw the anxious look.
"Great, that means you get to be my date while wearing a nice dress." Damon said as he looked at Willow. "Wait what? You don't need me, why would I go?" She asked. "You'd be mine and Selene's chaperone." Ambrose said and she glared at him. He wasn't helping!
"See? I'll even save you a dance." Damon smirked and Willow sighed.

All the students were dressed in 50s clothes for the 50s dance. Selene and Ambrose were already there but without Willow who was running later. Liam had joined them after Caroline asked him if he'd like to go.
Selene was wearing a half-sleeve polka dot dress with matching heels and scarf and her hair was nicely curled and laying over her right shoulder.

She was by the punch bowl with Elena when Bonnie and Caroline walked over. "Having fun with Liam?" Selene asked Caroline who smiled. "Yeah." She said and Selene smiled, she was happy Liam was happy with someone for once.
"What's Damon doing here?" Bonnie asked when she saw him standing with Stefan. "He asked Willow here, who's running late. He'll behave once she's here." Selene said. "Did they become a thing?" Caroline asked.
"No, she's still playing hard to get. She's scared he'll hurt her or something, if he does I might have to kill him." She said. "There's a thought." Bonnie said, liking the idea. "Mmm. I'll help." Caroline agreed, both having come to care for the woman they called friend.
