Chapter 18

Willow and the others left town to get her strength back up as well as get more blood bags so they wouldn't have to leave again if something happens and they need to get their strength back.

All four of them had fun together and turned it into a nice outing for themselves, before returning to Mystic Falls they did some hunting, something Willow hadn't done herself since Elliot died.

The time away from the town also let Willow properly think about everything that happened, she had her time to properly let everything she had been feeling out and she's glad she did. She knew it'd take her a while to be properly happy again but she knew as long as she had the others, she'd be okay.

Liam and Willow were storing the new shipments of blood bags down in a room in the basement they had brought back with them. "Willow, you've got a visitor!" Selene called from upstairs and Willow sighed. They just got back.

"I'll sort the rest of these out." Liam said and she smiled and took a bag before heading upstairs and saw her visitor was Damon.

"We just got back, were you hiding in the woods or something?" She asked. "I tell you, you'll make sure I can't do it anymore." He said and she rolled her eyes.

The two headed upstairs and to her room where she took her jacket off. "Did we miss any...what are you doing?" She asked when she turned to see him lying on her bed with her tedding in his arms. "Getting comfortable." He said and she shook her head and sat with him.

"Did anything happen while we were gone?" She asked. "Nope." He quickly answered. "You're lying. What happened?" She asked, taking the teddy. "Fine...Stefan may be on human blood and may have robbed some from the hospital."

Willow looked at him in surprise. She remembered Annie, her contact at the hospital, calling about that incident but she didn't think Stefan was behind it.

"Why is he on it?" She frowned. "Because Elena gave him some of hers after what happened and he hasn't been able to stop since. But that's not important right now." He said and she looked at him as though he was crazy.

"Damon, your brother is on human blood for the first time in years, what could be more important?" She exclaimed. There was a good chance Stefan could get caught and that'll create problems they don't need.

"I heard a pageant was coming up..."

"You didn't." She shook her head and groaned when he smirked, "You put my name in it?!" She exclaimed. She hated pageants with a passion, they were more Selene things than hers. "It'll be fun, you get to dress up all pretty like." He said and she looked at him. "You have five seconds before I hit you for this."

Knowing she was serious, Damon quickly got up and ran out the room with her close behind.

"I look forward to seeing you in a dress, Willow!" He called when he got to the door and she grabbed a pillow from a chair and threw it at him, he laughed dodging it before leaving and she rolled her eyes.

"Do I wanna know?" Selene asked as she walked up to her with Ambroe. "Ambrose, you're being my partner for the pageant." She said and he frowned. "Why me?" He asked. "Because Liam's most likely gonna be Caroline's partner when she asks and I'm not giving Damon the satisfaction of being mine." She said and Selene grinned.

"We need to go dress shopping." Willow's face visibly paled.

Both Ambrose and Willow were forced to attend dance lessons with the other contestants, they didn't like it since they didn't need to be taught how to dance.

"Honour your partner." Caroline said as she led the lesson and everyone bowed to their partners, Willow and Ambrose both rolling their eyes, "Stay focused, right hand around. Flirt with your eyes."
