Willow was asleep, or trying to sleep. It's felt like recently she's just been hit with more visions than usual up to the point where she's been making her own sleeping draughts just to make sure she sleeps without dreaming.

"You know you have the cutest snores." Willow sighed as she opened her eyes and saw Damon laying on his side on top of her bed with his chin resting on his hand.

"How did you get in here?" She asked, sighing. "You left your window open, it was begging me to climb through so I did." He said and she reminded herself to close the window before she went to sleep.

"What are you even doing here?" She asked and he remembered the whole reason he was there. He just started watching her sleep after not being able to bring himself to wake her after seeing her face didn't look disturbed by whatever dream she was having.

"I need your help." He said as he got up. "What with?" She asked, sitting up. "I got Emily's cookbook, figured with your magic expertise you'd be able to find the spell that I need." He said as he explored her room only to feel something hit him in the back of his head and saw she threw a teddy at him. "Really?"

"You called a grimoire a cookbook." She said and used her magic to slam the draws he opened, "And don't go through my draws." She said and he moved away, "Do you have the book with you?"

He pulled out the grimoire and handed it to her as he sat next to her on the bed. She carefully took it and used her magic to levitate it, Damon watched her use her magic to then turn the pages so she wouldn't accidentally rip a page.

Even though he knew about her witch side it was the first time he was properly seeing it, he wouldn't class seeing it when Emily possessed her because it wasn't Willow using it herself, this time around he was seeing the concentration on her face, something he's never seen.

Willow felt his eyes on her and looked at him. "What?" She asked. "Nothing." He said and she nodded before going back to looking at the book. She read some more before glancing at him when he rested his chin on her shoulder but let it slide. "Looking through it I should be able to find the spell. I could even perform it for you."

"Nope." He said and she frowned slightly. "Why not?" She asked. "Because I don't want Selene and the others on my ass if something like what happened with Emily happens again." He said, he knew her skin turning grey was her desiccating and that was the last thing he wanted.

Liam was at the Grill having a drink as he looked over some reports from Willow's contacts. She would usually read them herself but since he came to town he's been helping her so she wouldn't have to overlook a lot.

"Hey." He looked up when he heard Caroline and she sat across him in the booth. "Hey, yourself." He smiled and she smiled back. "So, I have a speech. It is fully scripted and well-rehearsed. Are you up for it?"

"Sure." He said as he closed the folder and sat back. "It's a 'you kissed me and I don't want things to be weird' speech. It's preemptive." She told him. "Okay." He nodded. "Yeah, you know in case you were having second thoughts or regrets or were like ooged out. I know we haven't known each other for long. So, I just want to let you know that right here and right now, I'm offering you an out. Like an escape clause."

"Why would I need one?" He asked curiously. "I don't wanna make assumptions about what it is we're doing. So if you would like to exercise it, just let me know." She said and he smiled and reached out to take her hand.

"I'm happy with what's going on right now." He told her and her smile widened. "Okay. Good."
