Ambrose and Selene bordly sat in the cafeteria with the others from their history class, Founder's Day was coming up and the students at the school were all doing a parade which also meant doing floats.
"So these are the specs for the History department." Alaric said as he handed everyone some paper, "For the Founder's Day float we'll be recreating the battle of Willow Creek. Tyler has been nominated at the head of production design."
"By who?" Tyler asked. "By me. I've seen your sketches and they're good." Alaric replied. "I'm not really into..."
"Well, you just pick your team, be creative and...don't screw up." Alaric said and saw Elena and Stefan walk over to Selene and Ambrose when they arrived and he went over to them.
"Hey, Mr Saltzman." Elena greeted. "Come with me. We need to talk." He said and they exchanged looks before following him.

Willow, Liam and Damon turned up at the school after Alaric got in touch with them asking them to head there. "Guys, thanks for coming." Alaric said when they walked into the classroom.
"Sorry, I'm late. My dog ate my...uh never mind." Damon remarked. "What's wrong?" Liam asked, seeing their frowns. "I saw Isobel last night." Alaric told them. "Isobel's here?" Willow asked and he nodded.
"Did you ask her about Uncle John? Are they working together?" Damon asked.
"No." Alaric answered.
"No as in they're not?" Liam asked.
"No as in I didn't ask."
"What about the invention?" Damon asked. "Didn't ask." He answered. "Did she know about the tomb vampires?"
"I don't know."
"Did words completely escape you?"
"No, I was a little too distracted by my dead vampire wife to ask any questions."
"Okay children, simmer down." Willow said and looked at Alaric, "What does she want?" She asked.
"She wants to see me." Elena said and they turned to her. "Alaric is supposed to arrange a meeting. We don't know why or what she wants." Stefan added. "You don't have to see her if you don't want to." Ambrose said to Elena and Selene eyed him slightly.
"I don't really have a choice." Elena said. "She's threatened to go on a killing spree." Alaric told them but Willow thought they were just words. "So? We can easily take her down." Liam said.
"I want to do it. I want to meet her. If I don't, I know I'll regret it."

Elena set up a meet up with Isobel at the Grill and Stefan was there to keep an eye on things along with Selene and Liam while Willow, Damon, Ambrose and Alaric were outside.
"Can you guys hear me? Thanks for coming, I'm nervous." Elena said from where she was sitting, Stefan smiled from where he was and Selene waved from the booth she and Liam were in, "I'm happy that you're here. I love you." Elena said to Stefan when a woman approached the table.
"Hello Elena. You look like her, that's eerie." Isobel said as she took a seat.
"You've met Katherine."
"She found me after I turned. Genetic curiosity, I suppose. She would be fascinated by you."
"Is that how you can walk in the day?" Elena asked, looking at the necklace around her mother's neck.
"Katherine helped me obtain it."
"Who's my father?" Elena asked.
"Not important. He was a teenage waste of space." Isobel brushed off and Selene thought she'd get along with her birth father.
