For the past couple of weeks, Damon and Willow have done what she said and that was get to know each other by telling each other some of the things they were up to. Both had heard things about the other but it was different to hear it from them in person.
Willow was at the Boarding House and was telling him about her visions after he let slip he looked in her notepad and he asked about her reacting to the stone door. "For the most of I couldn't remember what the vision was about but Fayde did and she'd tell me to which I drew them down and after that I started remembering."
"Some would see a specialist about this, you know." He said as he handed her a glass before sitting next to her on the couch and she chuckled. "In this case Fayde is that specialist...After seeing the door in person though, it's shaken me up a bit."
"Have you been sleeping?" He asked and she shook her head. "I see it every time I close my eyes." She said and he took her hand before rubbing his thumb on it in comfort.
Stefan chose that moment to make his presence known by coughing and they looked at him. "Can we talk?" He asked, looking at Damon. "Yeah." He responded. "Alone, preferably?" He asked, he didn't want to kick Willow out but he needed Damon's full attention for this.
"Stefan, it's just me. I won't tell anyone what gets told here." She said. "Willow's right, she should stay." Damon added and Stefan sighed, "You're worried about me. That's nice. Don't be. As you can see, I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be? I spent the last 145 years with two goals; get in that tomb and mend things with Willow. I succeed. Granted Katherine wasn't in there to be resurrected but as you can see, Willow and I are back on track. So it's a win for me. You know, it's so liberating not having a master plan, because I can do whatever the hell I want."
"That's kind of what I'm afraid of." He said. "Don't worry, Stefan. I've been keeping him busy with other things." Willow reassured him, he had noticed her visiting more frequently, she even spent some nights over but he wondered how long she could distract his brother.
"There was a woman you may have known a few years back named Isobel in North Carolina at Duke." Stefan said. "You wanna discuss the women in my past right now? Seriously?" Damon frowned. He was trying to get Willow more interested in him, not hate him for what he did in the past.
Willow on the other hand wasn't that bothered, if he turned someone and even was interested in other people then he was, it's not like she hadn't been with anyone over the years.
"You killed her." Stefan said.
"What's your point?"
"I just...I just wanna know if you remember anything about her." He said. "Oh, it's like a needle in a haystack, Stefan." Damon said. "Well, think hard. It's important." He said and Willow wondered if it was important for him, or Elena because that's the idea she was getting.
"The only thing important is finding out the juicy things this lovely creature has done while she was out of our lives." Damon said as he rested his chin on Willow's shoulder, "So if you would be so kind as to leave so I can go back to doing just that." He said and Stefan sighed but left.
Willow pushed Damon away so she could stand up and downed the rest of her drink. "What, you leaving too?" He frowned slightly as she put her jacket on and she smiled. "I've got work." She told him. "Since when?"
"I have meetings with some of my contacts, it's not all paperwork, you know." She said and he sighed, which had her chuckle, "I'll call you later." She said before leaving.
