(Book 1 of Coven)
After leaving Mystic Falls once before, Willow and Selene Sawtell never thought they'd return but they did and they are quickly pulled into the reoccurring events that seem to happen in town.
At least it's not something they aren't...
Liam and Ambrose settled in and it was like they had always been there, Liam had been there before since he joined Selene and Willow the first time they came to town. Willow loved having them both around again, it made the big house feel less big and more warm.
Selene was laying across the couch as she watched TV while Willow sat at the dining table with a laptop in front of her when Liam walked in buttoning up his shirt.
"Why aren't you two getting ready?" The town was holding its annual Founder's Party and while Liam and Ambrose were thinking it would be fun to go, Willow and Selene not so much.
"Because I'm catching up on Criminal Minds." Selene said as she ate some popcorn.
"I've got reports to look over. Still trying to see what got taken from the house." Willow said, not looking away from the screen.
When she and Selene returned to the house they noticed someone had broken into it and some of their possessions had been taken, Willow had been able to get what was taken thanks to her contacts and was just looking for the last couple.
He sighed as Ambrose walked in. "Ambrose, tell them it'll be fun." He said, if both of them said something maybe the girls would change their minds.
"He's right and I thought you two liked parties." Ambrose said as he pushed Selene's legs off the couch so he could take a seat and she simply placed her feet in his lap and smirked when he looked at her.
"Yes 'fun', just as it was fun back in 1864 when we had to watch both Damon and Stefan fight for Katerina's attention." Willow sarcastically said as she leaned back in her seat. "Let's face it, it'll be the same but with Elena." Selene added.
"You know, Damon and Stefan probably think you two aren't gonna show." Ambrose said and they looked at him.
"Your point?" Selene frowned.
"The point is, why not prove them wrong? Dress up all nice and beautiful?" Liam suggested and they looked at each other before Willow sighed.
"Will it get you to stop nagging?" She asked and he and Ambrose grinned. "Maybe."

Damon was at the Founder's Party and was looking around the place and eyeing the entrance every now and then. A part of him wondered if Willow would be attending though he had a feeling she wouldn't.
Even Stefan wasn't expecting her and Selene to show up.
"I can't believe you didn't wear heels." Selene's voice had him look towards the entrance to see her and Willow walk in arm in arm.
Selene was wearing a short black dress with black heels with her hair down and Willow wore a long dark blue dress with darker blue trainers with her hair also down and slightly curled.

"Be happy I'm actually in a dress." Willow said. "Still though, trainers to this thing? People will say things."
"Let them. They'll all be jealous of how beautiful she looks." Liam said as he and Ambrose walked in behind them and he wrapped an arm around Willow's waist. "You've got an admirer." Liam whispered in her ear when he caught sight of Damon watching them.
