Deception [ k.c ]

01 [ part 2 ]

        Klaus stood up from the couch and started pacing back and forth for what seemed like hours. Finally Rebekah snapped awake. She sat up quickly and looked around the room until her eyes landed on Klaus. Relief washed over her and she layed back down on the couch. 

        "So Caroline's back?" Klaus asked but it came more out as a statement. Rebekah looked at Klaus with pity and nodded her head. 

        "Yeah.." 

        "She flipped the switch didn't she?" Rebekah shook her head once again. Klaus looked down at the ground. She wasn't light anymore, she was darkness and he never wanted that for her. "I have to find her." He said and grabbed his jacket from the chair. 

        "Nik, you can't she might hurt you." Rebekah said getting up from the couch. 

        "Rebekah, she means so much to me and I can't lose her." He said walking towards the door, not looking back. 

        "Nik-" 

        "I'm going and you can't stop me." He slammed the door, leaving Rebekah behind. 

        "Damn witch." Caroline said getting up from the ground. How did she know my name? Caroline thought to herself. She shook the thought out of her head and continued walking down the street like nothing happened. She was thirsty for some blood so she decided to pick out her next victim. 

        "Caroline." Caroline knew that voice and she turned around to see Klaus grinning at her. 

        "Klaus." She said smiling at him. She crossed her arms and took a step forward. "Nice to finally see you." 

        "What are you doing here?" He asked her. She laughed and got close to him. 

        "To see my favorite hybrid of course." Caroline said as she closed the space between them. They're lips close, but Klaus knew he didn't want Caroline, not like this. Klaus took a step back from Caroline and smiled. 

        "Let me show you around love." He said. She rolled her eyes and walked past him. 

        "Don't call me love."  She continued walking and when she noticed he wasn't following her she turned around. "Are you coming or not?" She asked him with a dirty look. Klaus didn't want to be around this Caroline but he knew he wanted her to be safe. Someone here could seriously hurt her and he didn't want that. 

        

        "Her name is Caroline? Now sister, tell me what importance she has to Niklaus?"  Finn asked Freya. She took a seat across from him and explained. 

        "Caroline Forbes is her name. She lives in Mystic Falls and Klaus returned there looking for the Doppelganger to break the spell. Then after a while of trying to get the Doppelgangers blood he finally got some and turned this young boy named Tyler into a Hybrid. Tyler was dating Caroline and Klaus forced him to bite her. And he did. Then Klaus felt bad and saved her, there in that moment is when he fell in love with the girl, and he promised her he would be her last." Finn smiled at Freya. 

        "And how did you get all this?" He leaned forward. 

        "I have my way, but there is another thing you need to know." Finn's smile dropped. "Caroline's humanity switch is off. We need to find a way to turn it back on so we can have her at her worst." 

        "Let's go find this Caroline Forbes then."
