"Why did you do it?" Klaus asked Caroline out of the blue. She turned around and looked at him with harsh eyes.

"Why not?" She turned the question around on him. Klaus grinned at the ground. He knew that Caroline was still in there; he just had to find a way to get her back out.

"You know what I mean Caroline, why did you flip the switch?" He asked once again. She sighed and continued walking then she stopped in her tracks and turned around quickly running up to Klaus. She stopped inches away.

"Listen Klaus, I understand that you care about me, but it's not your job to worry about me." She said with a grin. Klaus began to grow irritated with Caroline. "I would also like if you leave it alone. Why does it matter? I'm free, I don't have to feel anything I-"

"How many people did you kill Caroline." Klaus asked her.

"I think your asking the wrong question Klaus. I think you should ask youself how many people you've killed." Caroline said with harshness in her voice. She laughed at him and continued walking; leaving Klaus standing in the same spot as before.

Caroline continued walking for what seemed like years. She turned around when she heard someone laughing. She was walking outside of the city where there was no one.

"Klaus?" She asked. No one answered and she continued walking until she heard another laugh. "Klaus is that you because I'm in no mood for an apology!" Caroline yelled into the distance. Then out of no where a man walked out of the darkness. Caroline looked at him with confusion.

"Caroline Forbes?" He asked with a smile. She didn't move but she kept her guard up.

"Yes?"

"My name is Finn Mikaelson and I need you to come with me."
