Deception [ k.c ]

        Caroline sat in her room alone, she regretted what she did. She shouldn't of kissed Klaus, she knew she should of controlled herself but she couldn't. She couldn't lie to herself anymore, she's in love with Klaus. Caroline pulled out her phone and called Stefan for the 1000th time. 

        "Hey, it's me. And I know you won't answer but we really need to talk. I messed up Stefan, but I have to explain myself. So um, call me back when you can." Caroline said and hung up the phone. She heard a faint knock at the door. "Come in." She said as she sat down on the bed. She watched as Klaus walked through the door. She stood up quickly. 

        "Klaus.." She whispered and he walked a few feet closer to her. 

        "Caroline, I just want to say-" She cut him off. 

        "No, Klaus. I can't do this. I love you, I do. But I can't be with you. You have to understand that." Caroline stated. Klaus smiled at her for a moment but it soon disappeared. 

        "You just can't do that Caroline, you can't say you care about me and then just say we can't be together." He said with hurt in his voice. "Look at me." He told her and she did with tears in her eyes. She was hurt because she did want to be with him but she knew it was dangerous. Klaus put his hand to her cheek. "Does this feel wrong?" He asked her. She didn't say anything. She just closed her eyes. Then Klaus kissed her. She couldn't help but kiss him back. He pulled away and she opened her eyes. "Does that feel wrong because to me, it feels right." He said. She moved away from him and walked to the door. 

        "I have to go Klaus, bye." She said and walked out of the room leaving Klaus. 

        Stefan sat on the bench waiting for Caroline, he wanted to hear her out for why she did that. He knew that she felt something for Klaus but he didn't know that she would go that far and kiss him. 

        "Stefan." He looked up to see Caroline walking towards him. He stood up from the bench and put his hands in his pockets. "I came here to explain myself." Caroline said. 

        "Go on then." Stefan stated and Caroline did. 

        "Stefan.. I wasn't ready to be with anyone. I did like you Stefan, I fell for you before, but now things changed. I don't love or like you in that way anymore. It's Klaus that I love and I just kept lying to myself, telling myself that hey, you don't love him. It's never going to work out. And maybe it's true. I love him for sure, but I know for a fact it's not going to work out Stefan. Because no matter what, if I'm with him, bad things are going to happen." She said and took a deep breath. She's been holding that in for a long time and she finally felt as if she was free. 

        "So what does this mean between us?" He asked, but he already knew the answer. 

        "Stefan, it's over. I just want to be friends.. Hopefully we can still do that." She said looked at him with hurt. He knew that it was for the best and he agreed. 

        "Also, I think I'm ready to go back to Mystic Falls." She said and Stefan smiled. 

        "I'm ready too." 

        "They're going back to Mystic Falls?" Finn asked Freya. She nodded her head. "We have to get her before-" 

        "Calm down brother, I have a few werewolfs on my side that will help me with her." Freya said. Finn looked at her with confusion. 

        "But they're all together because of that damn wedding." Finn looked at Freya in the eyes with anger. 

        "Yes, but not all of them agree. We have a plan Finn, and we can get her back. Let her and her friends go back home." 

        "So what's the plan?" He asked her. 

        "We're going to kill Caroline Forbes."
