Deception [ k.c ]

13. [ part 1]

        Hayley walked over to Cami with Hope in her arms. Cami reached her hands out to Hope, she leaned forward to Cami and she grabbed her. Hayley wipped her face and kissed Hope on the head. 

        "Please take her far away, I don't want her to be here for when this happens." Hayley told Cami. Cami wrapped her arms around Hayley and pulled away after a long moment. 

        "She's going to be safe." Cami told Hayley. Hayley smiled at her baby and then took a deep breath. 

        "I love you Hope." Hayley spoke softly and then kissed her baby one last time before leaving her. Hayley didn't look back, she continued walking. She knew if she looked back she wouldn't want to leave her baby behind, but they were going to war and she needed Hope to be safe. 

        Cami continued walking until she saw a car parked to the side of the road. She knew who it was, Caroline. When she finallly reached the car; Caroline got out. She walked around the car to see Hope sleeping in Cami's arms. Caroline smiled down at the baby. 

        "I know that you're upset with Klaus for not telling you about Hope, but I know that you will take care of this baby. You're a good person, I can see it. I'm trusting you." Cami said handing Caroline Hope. Caroline held Hope in her arms and felt tears come along. Hope was so beautiful, and she knew that she had to protect this baby with her life. "Hayley and Klaus may hate me for just giving her to you, but they need to know that when they go after Freya and Finn that they will use magic to find you two, so tell Klaus your going to New York or something like that." Caroline nodded her head and Cami leaned down and kiss Hope on the head. "Please take care of her." She said to Caroline. 

        "I promise nothing will happen to her." Caroline told Cami. She smiled at Caroline and walked away. Caroline looked down at Hope. Hope opened her eyes slowly and looked up at Caroline. She didn't cry, she didn't do anything, she just looked at her. Caroline smiled down at her before putting her in the car and heading back to Mysic Falls.

        Klaus turned his attention to the door when he saw Cami walk in. Cami walked up to Klaus and smiled at him. 

        "Where's Hope?" He asked her. 

        "She's in the car sleeping, I just came to say goodbye." She told him and he put his hand on her shoulder. 

        "Thank you Cami; for doing this." He whispered to her. She shrugged her shoulders and nodded her head. "Where's Caroline?" He asked her. Before she could answer him, she felt her phone buzz in her back pocket. She pulled it out and saw that it was a text from Caroline. 

        Caroline: I couldn't say goodbye. Tell him I went to Maine, not New York. It seems too obvious. 

        Cami quickly deleted the message and looked back up at Klaus. He looked at her with a confused look. 

        "Who was that?" He asked her. She put the phone back in her pocket. 

        "It was just my mom, she always checks up on my at this time." She lied. "Anyways, Caroline went to Maine and she wanted me to tell you goodbye." She told Klaus. He nodded his head and took a deep breath. 

        "Well, let's kill some witches." 

a/n: I know I promised you guys an update, but I couldn't do it because Zayn left One Direction. I was crying all day and night and yesterday I was all sad and I just wasn't in the mood, but I updated today! There are going to be two parts to this Chapter and I hope you like it.
