02: Every Design, Every shade

[M/N] has at least 7 thousand and so on designs in his store and several thousand more in his home office. Each pattern never the same and each pattern made for a special occasion, from weddings as bridal parties clothes or a funeral for the beloved or their departed family member. [MN] had worked with many people on different occasions, all very different and all usually very nice.

His favorite part of the job? Sketching out the outfit, making the pieces together, and the expressions of his customers when they received his lovely designs. They always made his day, make his stomach do flips and butterflies burst within his chest, the feeling of excitement and happiness. [M/N] loved to sketch each design carefully, so he knew what he wanted to do or what he wanted to change up.

But his favorite thing to sketch in his free time was his husband Ajax.

Ajax's body is a canvas, a canvas that was painted by the gods. Ajax is a very tall young man with short choppy red hair with beautiful blue eyes that [M/N] enjoys, then going down is his well-sculpted chest and abs. He wore nothing but his Fatui and Harbinger uniform, always having that Fatui mask on the side of his head. Something that bothered [M/N], it wasn't fashionable and didn't want the Millelith to ask questions nor seek his husband as a suspicious man.

One notebook in his room is a nice large book with a dark purple covering with a nice bow on the middle of it. His pencil on the side inside were drawings of designs, outfits, and outfits for Ajax. It was almost filled and [M/N] had pre-ordered another notebook from Beidou, expecting it to come within a few weeks.

[M/N] hid that book under their bed, under a few old suitcases.

Now, with the last order gone, he had Kuai go bring his book. That sly bunny, came back with his book in one piece. Now he flipped it open to one of the pages he finished last week, a nicely made suit for him. All Liyue aesthetics and fashions, though the scheme was all over the place.

[M/N] liked all the shades, designs and colors.

Purples and black flowery designs on the clothes then move onto dark alluring reds with golden flowers then back to more meek and mindset hues. Dark blue with black lining and darken pants come to mind, good for leaving at night.

So many designs or last minute fixes, but this is the suit he wanted to tailor for his lovely Ajax.

He didn't mind Ajax's uniform, no, he didn't mind the bloodstains that took hours to get out, Nor the simple tears and ropes he had to fix every time his husband came home from a hard day's work. [M/N] didn't mind it at all, he just wished his beloved wore something else than those clothes.

[M/N] stared at the fabric, playing with it, feeling his thumb over the fabric. It was a lovely dark blue that he wanted, soft to the touch so it wouldn't bother to rub against places. He began pinning the fabric against the sheets to be sew together, humming to himself as Kuai was sleeping now on his chair.

"Now that's a snazzy outfit." A voice cooed and [M/N] flinched, almost putting a pin in his finger but laughs. he shakes his head, looking at the redhead that entered his office in his Fatui outfit. "Back from work?" 

"Yes, to visit my lovely husband~" Ajax cooed as he pressed a kiss to his husband's cheek and smiled. His eyes wander to the nice clothes that [M/N] was currently creating, the color is a lovely shade of blue. He moved his hand to touch the fabric and smiled, so soft and felt nice under his hand. "Babe, I want one~"

It is yours, sweetie~

"Oh dear, I-" [M/N] yelped as he felt something cold pressed against his cheek and turns quickly only to see a cold drink against his cheek. Freshwater with ice in it, sighing as he takes it in his hand with another sigh escaping his lips as he took the cup. "Thanks, honey." [M/N] muttered before taking a long sip of water from the cold cup.

"So, where do you want to eat? I heard Xiangling made a new dish, something to do with crabs and deep-fried." [M/N]'s stomach grumbled at the thought of food, he ate breakfast but dismissed lunch when he needed to finish an outfit. It was worth it, though he was very hungry. The pain of perfection.

"You didn't eat did you? We shouldn't dal-"

The couple turns to see the tiny rabbit had woken up and thumping his feet on the desk. Kuai stared at them with his cute dark eyes and ears twitching, once their attention was on them, he thumped his feet on the desk once more.  "Okay, Okay Kuai, we heard you." Ajax laughs before plucking the tiny rabbit up and smiled at him. "Such a small thing with a huge attuide." Kuai squeaks and turns his head. 

"Don't insult my bunny." [M/N] said as he picked up the suit, he would finish it another day. He began placing them in one of the cases for another day. "He's a good boy."

"That's right Kuai, I'm a very good boy~"

"I meant my bunny." [M/N] hummed as he walked back and the bunny was cleaning his paws, not paying attention to the redhead at all. "You're not a good boy, you enjoy fighting with everything, anything with a pulse."

"You like it~ you always take care of me afterward and rewarding me~"

[M/N] tsked as he plucked his journal and stuffed it into his bag. He held it close as he plucked his bunny from Ajax's hands and placed him on his shoulder to sleep on as they walk. "Besides, you always complain when we're finished with your rewards, saying I messed your uniform up with my essence-" 

"Seme-"

"Same thing. But you know full well that I clean it up before the next workday." [M/N] grins as Ajax playfully swats at him and both walked out of [M/N]'s office, shutting the door and locked it behind him.

His Ajax's present would be ready before his birthday for sure.
