14: Every Boy

[M/N] is a good husband.

[M/N] cooked, cleaned, brushed, fixed Childe's wounds, everything. He doesn't complain much or nags his beloved husband.

He didn't understand, just a few weeks ago, he had fucked Foul legacy Ajax in their bed, the one that they gave their virginities to each other years ago. [M/N] had been laid up in bed for a week after the injuries from the Treasure Hoarders, and once he was healed, Ajax returned to work. [M/N] wouldn't catch him at all, or even at the Bank, or even outside the building.

Maybe he did do something wrong? Maybe Ajax was stressed from work? Maybe something had come to mind or worst.

It had to be, right at that second.

"Are you sure you want to wait another few minutes, Master [M/N]?" The waitress at Third Round Knock out asked. She held the menu tightly and watched the other's lip warble a moment. This had to the seventh date he had missed this week, they don't go on a lot, most of them are random but planned ones were a must. This would be the second time going home alone and no apology gift as well. When Ajax missed a date or an important day, then he would send flowers or food or fabric. There haven't been any and it was upsetting.

"No thank you, let me just pay for my bill."

"No! No that's fine, the owner-"

"Please? I'm not a pity case." [M/N] said as the waitress sighs but nods, he placed the mora down and stands up. He walked out and saw the lanterns on and people slowly walking home after a day of hard work.

He began the walk home and hands in his pockets, taking shortcuts before stopping by the alleyway, the one passing the Wamin Restaurant, and saw two new people sitting at the cart area. One where that man from Mondstadt complained about spicy food. [M/N] felt pressure from behind his eyes, watching Ajax entertain that girl. 

Lumine, the unwelcome guest of Teyvet, searching for her lost brother. The welcome guest of [M/N]'s marriage. 

He leans against the building as he heard their laughter and Lumine showing Ajax how to use the chopsticks, she guides his hands into the way like her own. Ajax looked confused and tried to copy it but lost the grip, dropping the noodles into his bowl along with one of the chopsticks. Ajax laughs with her, and [M/N] could see, despite the blurry vision from tears, how he smiled at her. A soft smile and tender of it, fond and calm. 

"My, hurts, huh?" [M/N] heard a voice behind him and glared before it softens a bit. "Suprise to see me?"

"Captain Kaeya? What brings you here from Mondstadt?" [M/N] asked as he quickly dried his tears and blinked his eyes a bit. He stops when he felt the Captain's hand gently tilt his head upwards. He blinks a few times to meet Kaeya's dark blue eye with the unique pupil, staring down at him. There was no pity or sympathy in the lone eye and it made [M/N] feel better, just a bit.

"Do you want to go drinking? I did find a good little bar, a bit hidden and a bit expensive-" Kaeya felt [M/N] pull back and a bag of mora shoved into his chest, he catches it and felt how heavy it was.

"That's Ajax's funds for me, let's go fucking spend it." Kaeya grins a bit as he looped his arm through [M/N]'s and they began walking towards the bar that Kaeya mentioned.

"And I gave him a home! A home with me, that I paid for after the second month, to show Ajax I could provide too! I made my own shop and made my way through walls and hurdles, to get connections of my own. Artistic advice from Albedo of Dragonspine, the furs, and waterproof cloth from home! the lovely fabrics and designs from Inazuma!" [M/N] giggles as he placed his glass cup down, some spilled over the rim from [M/N] putting too much in it. "Not to mention the furs, the furs from fallen Abyss Mages, fuckers hate letting that go. Feathers and dyes from Mondstadt and Liyue!"

"I think you're overdoing it, buddy!" Kaeya said as he yanked the bottle from the other, sitting it close to him then to the drunken male. He was buzzed but [M/N] was done for. 

"..Every boy..partner...whatever...once they see something betters with a bigger cock or bigger tits...they leave their partner..of so many years to be with that piece..." [M/N] sniffed, he finished his glass before laying his head on the wooden table with a sigh, "I never thought..Ajax would leave me just like that."

"He's probably badgering Lumine for information." Kaeya tried, he barely knew Ajax but from what he gathered was he Fatui and an asshole, a cheeky one.

"...he loves family ya know? His special ones.."

"what's that suppose to mean-"

"He doesn't want kids with me...he said he isn't ready...but I knew he wanted kids..since forever..now he found the perfect woman to have kids with...heheh..news flash..I'm not that woman..or man...hehehehh.." Kaeya frowns a bit and looked away, he did feel bad but knew any advice he gave wouldn't work.
