09: My Brother-In-Law

"Big Brother! Big Bro [M/N]!" Teucer's voice exclaimed as he saw the two walking towards him. He waved at the nice boat driver who had brought him over with his mother's letters and his father's bag of Ajax's stuff from home for the two. Something about a couple of things, like weird cups that looked the same and a very nice blanket. Also some baby pictures of Ajax and such old toys.

"Teucer!" Both adults called and grunt as Teucer barreled into them with the bag of stuff he had. [M/N] smiled as he gently rubbed young boy's back, giving a smile to him. " How was the ride here sweetie?" He asked the child with a smile on his lips, as Teucer grins up towards them. " It was so nice! The water was so relaxing and I even saw some pretty fishes! There was a pink one, then a brown one and so many babies with them."

" That's great buddy, I'm happy you came here safe and sound." Ajax said as he takes the heavy bundle off Teucer's back and held it. " Since it's barely evening, we can go eat something or have some of [M/N]'s cooking-" teucer cheered with wide eyes and excitement bubbling off him.

" Yay! I want some of [M/N]'s cooking! Can we have something from home? Or Liyue food is nice too!" Teucer said as the designer chuckled a bit with a shake of his head. " Of course, of course, you two always had sensitive stomachs." They both whine a bit at the comment.

" You're so mean my dear husband of mine," Ajax said as they began walking home. Ajax beside [M/N] as the other side of [M/N] held Teucer's hand. " How's home Teucer, is mother and father doing well? And the others?" He asked as Teucer nods his head as they walked, " Yes! Mother and father have been good, and father is a lot healthier with the medication you sent home."

"That's fantastic! I'm glad that they're okay." Ajax sighs as they turned down another alleyway and their home was there. Ajax unlocked the door and they all entered the home, shutting it behind them as well. "Come on Teucer, I'll show you your room for the few days we'll have you here."

[M/N] watched them walk off and he placed his coat on the hanger, moving away as he pulled the apron on. He tied it around his waist and opened the fridge, there was rice from the other day and some fish they had left. Not to mention, he had gotten a recipe for Onigiri from Inazuma from one of the dockers at the port. He pulled it out, warming it up as he heard laughing down the hallway where the bedrooms were. He smiled to himself as he began focusing on the dish at hand. [M/N] was more than happy that Teucer was here, having been able to come here since Tonia and Anthon were busy with chores and such at home. Teucer being the youngest was able to escape the chores to visit.

"Mhm! I can smell rice!" Teucer gasped as he entered the kitchen, almost slipping in his black socks. He slips up a bit, and [M/N] glanced at him to make sure he wasn't going to fall on his face. Teucer leans against the counter, peeking over at the food being made. "Oh, what's that Big Brother [M/N]?"

"Oh, this is a new dish I learned, they make it in Inazuma." [M/N] said as he looked at the rice ball to make sure it was in a perfect triangle shape before placing it on the plate. "They're called Onigiri, rice, a bit of fish inside but you could try tomatoes too, and some seagrass." Teucer's face twisted up in confusion, "Grass? You can't eat grass."

"But with Seagrass you can." [M/N] assured with a smile on his lips as he finished another one. "Wanna try to make one?"

"Yes please!"

His mother was getting impatient once more. She had not only sent a blanket for [M/N]'s and his bed but some of Ajax's old baby toys and baby clothes, as promise a baby book filled with pictures that his father had drawn of Ajax as a baby. Though some new pages were added to it, for the children his mother wanted them to have. 

[M/N] hadn't said a thing about children, they were both young still but the thought never passed their mind nor a conversation just yet. Him, being a Harbinger of the Fatui, and [M/N] being a well-known designer with a stubborn Bunny and a clingy slime.

Ajax adored the idea of having a family with his husband, though the idea is put to rest when the negatives come up. Especially with [M/N] having to care for the baby or child most of the time, it wouldn't be fair at all. What if [M/N] feels like I'm not pulling my weight? Or what if my enemies find out I not only have a husband but a child as well? What if they don't give gay couples children in Liyue?

Those are the ones that worry him the most, they really did. Then the positives came up next, [M/N] and he wouldn't be alone anymore, there would be giggles and laugher everywhere. The child would be loved no matter what, taken off the streets or a boring home and brought to them. His dream of becoming a father would be a reality, having a larger family of his own, and somewhat rubbing it in his father's face that he could be normal. 

[M/N] would be a wonderful papa and Ajax would be a wonderful father, or daddy, whatever the child wants to go by would be fine with him.

Ajax looked at the pages of himself and his siblings, hand-drawn since this was way before the Kamera. Very detailed and so many of him playing in the snow or playing with his older sisters and brother. He smiled as he flipped to the last page of his book, seeing his mother had placed their wedding photo, [M/N] and Ajax, them standing together at the statue of the seven. Both dressed for the weather and looked so happy.

"Big brother! Dinner time!" Teucer called for him and Ajax closed the book, setting it on the bed as he walked out of his bedroom towards the kitchen to see Teucer setting plates and cups down for them. He grins, Ajax lifted Teucer up causing him to laugh, "Big Brother!"

"Thank you for setting up the table, such a gentleman." Ajax cooed, rubbing his cheek against Teucer's affectionately with a beaming smile. "I have some forks for you if you need to use them-"

"No thank you! Mother already taught me how to use chopsticks, but [M/N] said we don't need to use any of them for this type of meal. " Teucer explained and Ajax smiled, despite the prick of jealousy that went past him. How could his little brother learn how to use chopsticks and not him..dang it..so behind.

"Yup, and Teucer helped me make the shapes with the rice." [M/N] said as he held a plate of all different shapes of Onigiri. Teucer had gone creative when he began making them, instead of the traditional shapes that [M/N] made, Teucer had made one that looked like a bunny, one that looked like a messy Mr.Cyclopse eye and others looked like weird sea creatures. [M/N] placed the plate down at the center of the table before moving back into the kitchen for the tea he had boiled for them. He sits it down as the redheads sat down, he began pouring the tea into their cups with a hum. 

"Thank you for the food!" Both said before taking their share of food and [M/N] smiled back at them as he takes a few rice balls. He bites down, humming at the taste as the other two kept stuffing their faces with gleaming eyes, happy. 

"This is so good big brother [M/N]!" Teucer said as Ajax nods his head in agreement, this was one of the recipes his husband had gotten from one of his dock friends when getting fabrics down there. "Yeah, I can agree, I love it." Ajax said as he sipped his tea but watched as his husband leans over and gently used the tablecloth on the table to wipe the rice pieces on Teucer's cheek. 

"You eat like a messy piggy." [M/N] teased the boy with a smile and Teucer giggles, both unaware that Ajax was watching the two fondly with a smile. They looked so cute, and the idea of a baby came back to his mind. Maybe they were ready? Maybe it was time to try to extend their family with children. 

That came to mind with the dark thought, nothing gruesome but one that would sound very selfish if he spoke it out loud. 

What if I want a baby that looks like me? Made from my own genes then someone's leftovers?
