She had never been so happy to hear her alarm ringing, for the first time on that vacation she did set an alarm. As she turned it off Emily jumped out of her bed, getting ready for the day. She started with her morning run, she would have never skipped it, also because she would have gone back to her work in just a few weeks and she really needed to be fit, otherwise she wouldn't have kept up with the rhythm. Once at home she took a shower to shoot down her nerves and calm down, why was she even nervous? She couldn't really tell, but she thought that it would have been the first time she would actually spend a whole day with someone she didn't know since she was back.

She ate something and decided to bring a backpack with her instead of a bag, it would have definitely been easier to carry if they had to go on his bike. What should she wear? She didn't really want to put on something random, even if he had definitely seen her like that before, almost every day, but she wanted to feel good. A tank top or a crop top were out of discussion, they would have shown her scars and she didn't know if she was ready to show them to him just yet if he hadn't noticed them before. She decided to wear a light short sleeved white bluse and matching shorts. Not too girly, not too casual, just perfect. She took her sunglasses and left the apartment. For the whole walk toward the beach she kept questioning herself if she was sure about this. It was definitely a big step for her. Going out and drink something together was easy, she could get home whenever she wanted, spending an entire day with him was different. Moreover she hoped he wouldn't find strange the fact that she didn't want to get into the water or either take off her clothes off and stay in her bikini. It was still too much, he didn't have to know just yet. On the other hand Cal was a great guy, she could tell. She had firstly believed he was a bit self centered but he had turned out to be really sweet, and she had only spent a few hours with him. She really liked his company and spending time with him, she honestly couldn't wait.

When she at the beach slightly before 11am she couldn't spot him. He might have been a bit late... what if he had already gone without her? Maybe her watch was broken and she was late. She took out her phone, checking the hour, it was the same. She looked around again, what if he forgot?

"You looking for me?" a known voice asked.

"Actually yes, I have decided to come with you today, if the offer is still on" she answered.

"Sure! I'm gonna buy something to eat at the cafe and then we can go. Do you want something?" he asked happily.

"Is there some place where I can buy something to eat where we're going? Otherwise yes, I didn't bring anything with me" she asked, she wasn't really sure where they were going.

"No it's an isolated beach, it's not really known but it's beautiful" it wasn't his original plan, he had already visited that beach days before and found it amazing.

He just wanted to bring her in a beautiful place since it might have been the first and last time she agreed to his invitation. He didn't know how the beach he had planned to visit that day was, what if she had got bored because it was bad and never come with him again? It had to be special.

They bought some food and water, enough to have something to eat both for lunch and have a little snack. He then offered her his spare helmet and she straddled the bike on the seat behind him, as she had done that evening when they went to the club.

"Ready?" He asked looking back at her.

"Yeah" she answered, wrapping her arms loosely around his torso.

He started the engine and they started to ride toward their destination. She eyed some beautiful beaches and woods once they exited the city and her desire to see more of those places grew into her. She didn't know if Cal had liked to have a guest on his trips, after all it was his vacation and maybe he just wanted to relax and have some alone time. She could have asked him, but she didn't really want to be rude.
