They talked for hours, their alone time had gone from awkward conversations and random flirting from his side, to random talks about life and even stupid stuff, she was glad they could communicate that perfectly even after knowing each other for a few time. She had to be honest though, she wouldn't have minded if he had started flirting with her again. He was handsome, sweet, probably their relationship wouldn't really have lasted because she didn't even know where he lived but maybe it wouldn't have been that difficult to catch up. She would have liked it, maybe even as a summer crush, something designated to end but it was the first breath of fresh air she had taken since she had been back. It wouldn't have been the first time having a summer relationship with someone and it gave her a sense of freedom, thinking about the happy part of her past for once.

"I like this song, I'll definitely add it to my playlist" he smiled at her and she couldn't help but staring at him.

His green eyes shined under the sun, his still wet skin was glowing beneath the sun rays and his hair was slowly getting curled as it dried. He was handsome, once again, she couldn't deny it. She wondered what he thought about her, if he was still as interested as the first time they met or he changed his mind. He probably had.

"It's great, feel free to steal all the songs you want from my playlist" she smiled and he nodded.

They actually didn't even realized the whole afternoon was almost over and since they had taken a walk they had to go back to the first beach to get home, since his motorbike was still parked there. They rode back to the city and he left her in the exact same spot they said goodbye that night, when she didn't want him to know where she lived.

"I had a great time" she admitted taking off her helmet.

"Me too, as I said feel free to join me whenever you want" he smiled at her.

"What about tomorrow?" se felt the urgency to bite her bottom lip to suppress a shy shy smile.

"Oh, yeah sure! Do you wanna join me tomorrow too?" he asked happily.

"If you'd like me to" she smiled back.

"I'd love to! Don't be silly! I'm gonna wait for you on the beach at the same hour then" he tried so hard to contain his smile but he just couldn't.

He had learned to know her a bit more and honestly he couldn't wait to know her even better. She looked great, her personality was even better and they had a lot in common.

"Yeah, also if you want I'm gonna give you my number, just in case you know. Either me or you could be late and so we know that we just need to wait a few minutes more... you know. For keeping us updated" of course, that might have been the original plan, but she also would have liked to chat with him or make random calls.

"Oh, yeah sure it sounds legit" he nodded.

He took his phone and gave it to her so she could save her number in it . She wrote "Emily" as the name of the contact, she didn't want to tell him her surname and it felt strange not to write it, also because she was used to be called by her last name a work.

"Here" she said, handling the phone back to him.

"Thanks, I'm gonna save my number on your phone too if you don't mind" he pointed out, so he could call her too just in case.

She gave him her phone so he could do the same, taking it back and putting it in her pocket when he was done. An awkward silence fell between them, they honestly didn't know what to do. They had spent the whole day together and a few evenings but yet they didn't have that kind of intimacy you usually have with friends. They couldn't hug to say goodbye but yet she couldn't just walk away like nothing happened and she hadn't just spent the whole day alone with him.
