Her eyes opened slowly, trying to adjust to the light of the room. She stretched her body toward the place that must have been taken by Cal but she found it empty. As soon as she realized that Cal was not by her side she brought herself into a sitting position, covering her body with the bed sheets and searching for some clothes. She found his shirt still on the floor, a clear sign he was still there and she decided to wear it, it was definitely too big like all of his clothes but she felt good in them, they had his cologne on and she breathed it in. She suddenly realized that his cologne wasn't the only scent in the room, she could definitely smell coffee and bacon? Waffles? Or were they pancakes? Maybe all of them. She heard footsteps on the corridor and decided to go back in bed; soon she saw Cal entering the room with a tray on his hands.

"Good morning" he smiled at her, laying the tray on the nightstand.

"Morning" she smiled back, leaning in to leave a soft kiss on his lips.

"Did you sleep well?" he asked, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"I did, what about you?" she asked.

"Yeah, I don't usually sleep that easily" he chuckled.

She smiled back at him, looking into his eyes.

"Made you breakfast, I wasn't really sure about what you would have liked so I made a couple things. You can have some fruit, some bacon and egg, or pancakes" he pointed out, showing her everything he cooked.

She ate some bacon and eggs, then some pancakes, sharing them with him while tasting some fresh fruit. She wasn't really used to have a big breakfast but seeing all those delicious things in front of her she couldn't help but trying all of them. She cuddled against his chest as they both ate some strawberries and some peaches.

"I'm sorry if I keep asking you but... Are you sure that it's not a problem the fact that I have a kid?" she asked again, she wanted to be sure.

"It's not, but it made me think" he admitted.

She looked up at him, ready to listen to whatever he was about to say.

"Where is this relationship going? I mean you're acting like we had been together for year and I have just found out you have a family. I don't really know anything about your private life and mine it's been kinda secretive too. We met less than a month ago and started... this... a few days ago" he didn't know if she kept asking because deep down inside she wanted to continue this relationship that they had or just because she might  think he had started seeing her in a different way.

"I'm not sure, I mean I like what we have, don't get me wrong but, my life is kinda messy" she admitted.

Did she really wanted him to get involved into her life? Should she tell him about her work? Was she even allowed to? She didn't know. However, she would have liked to continue whatever they had and maybe bring it to a next step.

"I get it, I would like to continue it too, but I don't wanna push you" he explained.

"I know, I-" he didn't let her finish.

"Listen, you don't have to give me an answer right now, but the summer is almost over so I think I will deserve an answer at some point. As I said I'm not gonna push you, but just promise me you'll think about it" he said softly, caressing her hand.

"I will" she nodded, laying her head back on his chest.

He removed the tray form the bed letting her cuddle agains him with more freedom. No one had looked at which hour it was but it looked like no one was even thinking about moving or leaving the bed.

"You look good with my shirt on" he said, running a hand on her side, feeling nothing underneath he fabric.

"You look good without it" she run her fingers on his naked chest, tracing his tattoos.
