She had never been there, never even knew where he actually lived. She couldn't deny she was a bit nervous, they had always spent their free time in a public place so they felt the constant need to control themselves... but now they didn't need to. They were free to do whatever they wanted and she was both nervous and excited about it. It turned out Cal rented this nice apartment pretty near to the beach. He gave her a little house tour and she could see it was way bigger than hers, even bigger than her new apartment she rented back in Boston. It had a big living room and a nice kitchen, a big bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub and then his room. He didn't really show her that one but she could take a peak of it when she was walking in the corridor, it looked nice.

"How about we order some lunch?" he asked, they hadn't eaten anything yet.

"Sounds good to me" she answered.

They decided to order some pizza, its was a hard choice but they managed to choose between that and Chinese food. She looked around standing in his living room, not really sure about what to do. Her hair were still wet and her clothes still had rain on them, she was afraid to sit anywhere. He ended the phone call with the delivery guy and he noticed her insecurity.

"I'm so sorry I'm such an idiot you must be cold... do you wanna change into something warmer?" he asked, putting the phone on the table.

"Uhm- if it's not a problem..." she answered, she didn't really want to bother him.

"No problem, wait I'm gonna try to find you something" he said before disappearing in his room.

She looked round as she waited for Cal, who got out from his room as quickly as he could, handing her a pair of his sweatpants, one of his teeshirts and a big hoodie. He excused himself telling her they might have been too oversized for her but it was fine, he had even been too sweet. She headed toward the bathroom to change and he told her to put her clothes in the dryer if she wanted to, plus he showed her where the hairdryer was, thinking that her wet hair might have bothered her. After she finished changing she went back to the living room, finding Cal on the couch.

"Don't you dare laughing" she said immediately, referring to the fact that his clothes were definitely way too big for her.

"You're so cute" he answered quickly, giving her a smile.

She smiled back at him, sitting on the couch as they could hear the rain pouring down. She rested here head on his shoulder and he started playing with her hair as they waited for their food to arrive. When the doorbell rang she let out a really disappointed sound and she tried to snuggle more against him. He let out a chuckle but unfortunately he had to get up to get their food. She found out Cal had set the table for both of them. She helped him to get the food and they ate, talking about random stuff and making jokes like they were used to and she had started to relax a bit more. Their hands touched and he held hers on the table, swiping his thumb slowly on it; she gave him a shy smile as a response. She didn't have to be nervous, it was him, she knew him. The fact that they were alone didn't mean anything, in her mind they had always been alone, in their own bubble they created where the outside world didn't exist.

After lunch they decided to move to the couch to watch a movie. She didn't hesitate to lay her head on his chest and cuddling against him, like she had been doing it for years, like she was used to. His hand reached her hair and he started playing with it softly, making her relax even more. She didn't notice falling asleep, it had been a rough morning, her emotions were just overflowing over her and her feelings were a total mess. Being there in his arms and cuddling against him was shooting her nerves and succeeded in making her sleep for a while, restoring some energies.

He had noticed she was asleep when he felt her breathing steady and deep, her hand sliding a bit on his chest. He would have liked to move her, make her lay down, she would have been definitely more comfortable, but at the same time he was afraid to wake her up. He knew she had been through a lot that morning and he could get she was tired, waking her up was far from his plans. He decided to stay still, watching the tv show they had started as he continued to run his hand through her hair, leaving a light kiss on top of it.
