Katie's P.O.V - Back At The Hotel

I hung up the phone and laughed with Stevie, listening to Eddie and Vince on the radio, up in Stevie's hotel room.
They stayed on the air for another half hour, before they started to wrap things up. They won't be back for another hour or so...

Dylan knocked on the door and let himself in, all of us losing track of who has the spare key to who's room. All I know is, I have full access to Eddie's room, as well as mine.
"Bar?" He asked us, standing tall, Brittany standing by the door, waiting.
I was lying on the bed, and Stevie was sat in the round red fabricated chair. We looked at each other and nodded, getting up and following the two out the room.

Who is Brittany?
Remember the Pamala Anderson? . . . Yeah, her.
He cheats though, but what were we expecting?!

"'Ey, it's Brittany, Bitch!" I cheered, as we walked out the elevator.
She laughed, linking her arm with Dylan's, the two taking lead to the bar.
Stevie snorted, knowing I don't really like her, walking on my left.

We walked passed some tables, over to the bar. It's our day off, so we don't have to worry about being anywhere.
"Hey, I been meanin' to ask..." Stevie started, as we all stood at the bar, Brittany taking a seat, us three all standing.
"What's up?" I smiled at my cousin.
"When are ya gon' set meh up with y'r frien'?" He asked me.

I forgot all about that...
"Uh."
"Oh, yeah! What's her name, man? Stevie's been tellin' me all about it. He's excited." Dylan looked at me, knowing I forgot.
"Whah is 'er name?!" Stevie perked up.
"Uh..." Think, Katie. Think. "Sherrie."
"Sherrie..." Stevie repeated it. "Sherrie..." He smiled.
"What are you doing?" Dylan mouthed at me, Stevie standing in between us, with Brittany sat on his left.

I looked down at the bar, as the bartender came over.
Dylan ordered in the drinks, getting Stevie and I our usuals.
I told him I'd do this, and now I have to. I will not hurt my Stevie.
"Do you want to meet her? I could give her a call?" I asked him.
"Coul' ya?!" He beamed at me.
"Yeah, sure... Hold on a second." I smiled at him, excusing myself.

I walked passed the table and turned left, so if the guys were watching me walk, they'd think I'm heading for the elevator.
I then did a 180° and headed for the hotel doors. A suicide mission. Our fans knew we were here. They've camped outside every hotel.

"Monroe..." I heard Alec behind me.
I walked out the door.
"Oh my god!" A girl to my left stared at me, sat in front of her one-man-tent.
I smiled at her. "Hi."
I walked down to the car park, just to the right. They all started to notice me now.
My heart was pounding, my throat ran dry. I was actually scared.
I took a deep breath, walked into a clearing, and did what I had to do...

"SHERRIE!" I called out.

"Yeah?!" A voice asked back, over to my right.
A girl my age stood with a few friends, looking to be on a night out, that was just getting started. They stood by a red car, all wearing short dresses, and clutching handbags.
The one who replied was exactly what I was hoping for.

She had dark hair, with a natural amount of make up, wearing a short black dress, black heels, with a silver-white clutch purse, thingy. Her hair was tied up, but long and flowing.

I smiled.
"Katie?!" Kirk ran over to me. "What the fuck are you doing?!" He grabbed my hand, wanting to take me back to the hotel.
"Hang on." I stopped him, walking up to Sherrie.

"Hi." I smiled to her.
"Oh, my god... You're Monroe." She looked at me, stunned.
"Yes. Do you know who Stevie is?" I asked her.
"Yes. I love him!" She smiled at me, but not in a psycho way.
She was really sweet, staying calm and collected, though stunned.
"Would you like to go on a date with him?" I asked her.
"What?!" She and Kirk both asked.
"I'd love to, but what...?" She looked from me, to Kirk, then back to me.

"Look, I told him I'd set him up with a friend, and I completely forgot about it, he asked me about it, so I said her name was Sherrie, I freaked, came out here, and here you are. Would you like to go on a date with the Stevie King?" I asked her.
She looked to her friends, who had no idea, and she looked at me. "Right now?"
"Preferably." I nodded.
"Yes."

Monroe, One - Sherrie's girl squad, Nil.

I smiled at her, taking her hand and towards the hotel.
"Bye, then!" One of her friends called out.
"See ya!" I waved to her, not really caring.
"So, are you over twenty one?" I asked her, as Kirk escorted us back to the hotel, with very little trouble.
"I turned twenty one, two months ago." Sherrie smiled at me.
"Awe, great! He'll love ya! Stay here with Kirk for a second. I'm just gonna tell him you're here!" I told her, standing in the lobby.
"Oh, my God." I heard Dylan behind me.

"I saw you leave through the doors, Alec's just told me you ran out, and he sent Kirk after you. You can't be serious, Monroe." He walked up to us.
"Her name is Sherrie. Give me something, Dylan. I love Stevie so much! I didn't realise how much he actually wanted me to do this." I looked at my best mate.
"Jesus... OK. Triple date! I'll help you." Dylan pinched the bridge of his nose, before getting the idea.
"Great! I don't know shit about Brittany. It'll be a laugh, just don't say anything to Stevie, about me forgetting!" I looked at the three. Dylan, Kirk, and Sherrie.
She zipped her mouth shut and threw away the key, making me take a great liking to her. She's funny! Stevie will love that!

. . .

"Stevie! She's here. Let's grab a table, we'll triple date." I smiled at him, reaching the bar.
"Alhready?" He asked me, a slight slur.
"Yeah! She was literally just parking up outside the hotel." It wasn't a lie.
"Oh, OhKay!" Stevie smiled at me.
I grabbed my G&T, taking a large gulp. "I'll go get her..." I excused myself again.
