Katie's P.O.V

"Oh, Hell NO!" I shouted at them.
"Oh, come on!" Eddie argued back.
"You're the youngest in this band! How the fuck are you getting married first?!" I started at him, Dylan sat opposite me, biting his hand, trying to not laugh.
I could hear Stevie and Sherrie in hysterics in the back of the bus, while Alec was hanging out of his bunk, watching this go down.
"Sorry, I'm in love! We've been together a really long time." Eddie looked at me.
"So?!" I looked at him.
Dylan was clutching his stomach, in tears, laughing.

The bus stopped and the doors opened, but no one moved.
"Monroe, it's OK." Vince spoke up, sat on my left, on the bench of the bus.
"It's not OK! It's the end of an era. We'll have a married bloke in our band." I motioned up to Eddie, with an open palm.
"I'll still be me." Eddie pointed to himself.
"Well, you can all afford it." Gov started, standing next to driver James, not roadie James, over at the front of the bus. "You can afford your own houses, your own cars, your own private jet..." He told us.

We all shut up, looking up at him, Stevie coming to the front of the bus, all attention on the Gov.
"What about you?" He asked.
"Well, Peter will be meeting us in LA, next week, for the end of the tour. My fate will be settled then. If Eddie and Maria want to get married, then I say they should. Let's be real. Eddie's the band mom. We'd all marry him if we could." Gov smiled, looking at Eddie and Maria.
"Monroe is the ring leader. The funny one, the entertainer. Nothing, but a good time with you." He smiled at me, making me smile back.
"Dylan's the dickhead, but he's the looks. You get access to wherever it is you want to go, and at the same time, you never leave a man behind. You brought Stevie back to life." Gov turned to Dylan, who gave a nod.
"Stevie is the brains! He's our fucking Einstein... Sure, he slurs, he confuses us, and he always out smarts us, but he's the heartbeat of you all. He's the glue. He's that loyal to us." Gov made a fist, holding it to his heart.
"And Vinnie... You're our counsellor. Calm and collected. You geek out, but we all adore you. We wouldn't all be here today, if it wasn't for you...
If Eddie and Maria want to get married, then who cares?! What matters is that they do get married. We can make it all happen, just as you made it happen for Vikki Camel, Alec, for Eddie... For Dylan... For Vince... For Stevie... For you, Monroe."

We all looked at the Gov, before starting to all look at each other.
"I love you guys." Dylan spoke up first.
"I love you all too." I smiled.
"You're it for me..." Vince smiled. "My home sweet home."
"Yeah, home is where you guys all are." Eddie grinned.
"An' i's always here." Stevie added.
"OK, Eddie..." I stood up. "You do you."
He smiled.
"Let's just not forget which woman you spend the majority of the year with." I teased, making everyone laugh.
We all shared a hug with each other, Alec, Sherrie, Maria, and the Gov joining in too.

. . .

New York was amazing, then we went on to Pennsylvania.
Gabriel and Vivian caught every show, even meeting and going out for dinner with Sherrie. They loved her.
They made plans to go out for dinner with Sherrie's parents, after Stevie meets them. It's looking well for him.

We then hit Boston, a big deal for both Janie's Gun and Aerosmith. Home shows, y'know?
We all stayed in our own houses, during our stay, taking time to get some reality back to us, before playing some shows.
Stevie invited Sherrie's parents to a show, but only her mum could come, as her dad had work related issues to solve. This was fine, as Stevie can be a bit much on first meetings, but Sherrie's mum loves him.
And with me... Me and Kirk are hardly talking anymore. He's really acting strange and won't talk to me about it. I really feel like I've lost him...

"OK! I've had calls, I've made calls. We're going to LA, before Aerosmith. Peter wants you to make a music video for 'Fallen Angel'." Gov told us, as we prepped for stage.
"Yes!" I cheered, looking at him through the mirror, fixing my hair.
"We leave tomorrow afternoon, but this is OK. Don't worry about tomorrow's show!
Now, ladies if you could pack everyone's bags, Alec will go with you to help, we need to swap hotels. Fans have swarmed in, and apparently have broken into some rooms, none of yours though! but we just need to move."
"Man, they love us!" Dylan smiled, making us all smile.
"On it." Sherrie smiled, kissing Stevie before her and Maria headed off.
"They've seen every show so far. They can miss one!" Gov looked at us, making us all snicker.

. . .

The show ended, we got to our new hotel, and as I was walking to the elevator with Dylan, I saw a tall blond standing at the hotel bar, my heart racing.
"It's him." I grabbed Dylan's arm, looking over at him.
Dylan looked over, seeing the guy Ezra was with nudge his arm and nod over in my direction.
Like slow motion, Ezra looked back, our eyes meeting, and the biggest smile came on his face.
Next thing I know, I'm in the lift.

"Should I talk to him?" I asked, staring at the doors.
"That's up to you... Want me to come with you?" Dylan offered.
I shook my head. "No... I... I wanna talk to him. See if I am crazy..." I told him, as we got to our floor.
The doors opened, he stepped out. "Don't miss this chance... You may never get it again."

. . .

Dylan's P.O.V

The doors closed and I headed to my room.
I heard a racket coming from Alec's room, he was arguing with Kirk.
"SHE'S MY FRIEND! HOW COULD YOU FUCKING DO THAT TO HER, YOU ASSHOLE!"
So, he can tell Alec, but not Monroe?
"Enough is enough." I whispered, going into my room.
I'll let Monroe sort herself out tonight, if Kirk doesn't say anything to her, by the time we're in LA, then I will. I've given him more then a fair chance to tell her.
