Katie's P.O.V - 12:48 AM

Down in the bar, at one of the back corners. A light hung lowly over a small round table, housing four seats. We were out of view, so the boys lit some smokes, we each had a drink.
I opted for a gin and tonic, Dylan opted for a rum and coke, Vince opted for a regular lemonade, and Stevie opted for a whiskey on the rocks.

"I'll tell ya this..." I started, placing down a four of hearts. "Eddie's lyric book is our holy grail."
The atmosphere was dark and mysterious. It's like we all knew what a brandy was...
"He had a say on almost every song from the first album, didn't he?" Vince asked, sat on my right, placing down a seven of clubs.
"Almost." Dylan nodded, cigarette hanging from his lips, sat on Vince's right, opposite me, placing down a king of diamonds. "Eddie's got a way with words..."
"SNAP!" Stevie cried out, placing down a king of clubs.

"Come on!" I complained.
"How are you winning?!" Dylan asked him.
Stevie was stomping his feet in celebration, a cigarette in his right hand, cards in his left.
"I quit." Vince laughed, dropping his cards on the table.
"I'm out." I shook my head, as Stevie sat back, lounging out.
"Fucking hippie." Dylan chuckled, getting a light punch from Stevie, on the upper arm.

Gov came round the corner, standing where we could all see him.
His arms were crossed, and he was tapping his right foot, looking at us.
"Gov'nor." We all looked at him.
"It's almost one in the AM... Get your asses upstairs and into bed!" He pointed to the hotel lobby.
"Sorry..." Stevie and I mumbled, before we all finished our drinks and headed to bed.

"Night, boys." I waved to them, as I knocked on my hotel door.
"Nigh'." Stevie frowned, as Gov pushed him to keep on walking.
Stevie was next to Dylan, who was opposite me and Kirk, as Eddie was next door to me, opposite Stevie. Vince was down the hall, closer to the gov, Alec and some of our crew. You remember James and Ollie, right?

Kirk opened the door, looking tired, with dishevelled hair. He ran a hand over his face, took one look at me, and held the door open, stepping aside to let me in.
"Bed, now." He said.
He knows me so well.
He shut the door behind me, I changed into one of his shirts, tying my hair back, and joined him in the bed, snuggling up to him, as I let myself fall asleep.

. . .

Vince's P.O.V

There was a loud knocking. It was irritating... but I'm not at home anymore...
I opened my eyes, seeing white.
White pillows, white sheets, white duvet. I'm in a hotel.
The knocking got louder.

"Vinnie! Get up!" I heard the gov'nor.
I chucked the duvet off me and scrambled to get up, answering the door.
"Gov! Hey! Morning." I gave him a nod, wearing only my pants and a white T Rex t-shirt.
"Don't you look cute. Breakfast, now. We need to get to the venue, if you don't eat now, you won't be eating again until much later. Let's go!" Gov told me, starting to walk away.
"On it!" I waved to him.
I grabbed my jeans, shoving them on, letting the door close on it's own, as I shoved my shoes on.
I grabbed my jacket, hanging on the bathroom door, and ran out my room.

I ran to the elevator, and the doors opened first go, lucky for me.
I jumped in, hit for the ground floor, and drummed on my thighs, scared I was late. I couldn't be late. I just couldn't be.
I went for my phone, wanting to check the time, only feeling my jacket pockets were empty.
"Shit!" I hissed, turning my pockets inside out. "Fuck, I left it on the table." Up in my room.
Too late to grab it now.

The doors opened, so I hurried out and ran into the dining hall, seeing the band and crew all sat between four different tables.
"Vinnie, ov'r 'ere! I saved ya a seat!" Stevie waved me over to the square table he was sat at.
I smiled, seeing I had loads of time, and started walking over to him.
"Morning." Maria caught up to me. "He refused to get his breakfast, until you got here, so we sent the Gov to get you. Hope you don't mind." She smiled, holding a trey of glasses of OJ.
"Ah, right. No, it's fine! I don't mind. It's no bother." I smiled, as she placed the trey on the table to the right of ours, letting Alec and Dylan grab a glass each, before placing four on our table.
"It's continental, but the waitress will be back over shortly." Maria smiled, as she went back over to the long buffet table, where Eddie, Monroe, and Kirk were standing, talking to each other.

I noticed Monroe had a plate full of croissants, but was stealing the odd thing from Kirk's plate, when he wasn't looking.

"Hi." Stevie smiled at me, as I sat on his right. He had that big toothy grin - The one where his teeth don't quite meet.
"Hey, man. Morning." I smiled, picking up my glass of orange, taking a sip. "You can get your breakfast now." I told him, with a smile. I loved this guy!
"I wan' berries... and sum eggs, wi'h sausages, an' toast... and a croissant... wi'h a blueburry muffin!" Stevie smiled at me, in a daze.
"OK. Want me to order it for you?" I offered.
"Nah, I got it." Dylan piped up, waving the waitress over.

She was tall, with brown hair, tied into a neat bun. She smiled, coming over to the table, as Dylan caught her attention.
He was sat at a table for two, on my right, sat across from Alec.
"Ready to order?" She asked, with a fake happy tone.
"Working to become an actress?" Alec smirk, speaking under his breath.
"HA! HAAAAA!" Stevie pointed at him, the waitress getting confused.

"One sec... Monroe! You want anything cooked?!" Dylan called out.
"Veggie sausages!" She called back, looking over her shoulder at us, as Kirk noticed some of his breakfast was now on her plate.
"A couple of veggie sausages, the Quorn, not Linda McCartney's. She will be able to tell. I'll have some scrambled eggs, with beans, hash browns, and toast. Alec..." Dylan looked from the menu to Alec.
"I'll have toast, with scrambled eggs." Alec shrugged. "And Stevie what kind of egg?"
"Pouched!" Stevie smiled.
Kirk, Eddie, Maria and Monroe came back to the tables, Eddie taking his seat next to Maria, opposite me.

Kirk sat opposite Monroe, at the table for four on our left.
Monroe shared her continental food with Stevie, as Alec ordered in Stevie's cooked food. The gov walked over and sat next to Kirk, leaving the seat next to Monroe to go spare.
Everyone made an order, the poor waitress having a lot thrown at her, and everyone started talking about the show.
I'm a nervous wreck about it, but I'm trying to not let that show, keeping what Joe said to Monroe in mind.
'It's rock and roll... It's all you know. It's all you talk about. It's what you are.'
