When they landed on Paradis Island she didn't have time to see everything before someone hit her on the back of the head and she blacked out.
When Yi woke up she found that her hands were no longer in restraints. She was on an uncomfortable mattress pad that squeaked everytime she moved. The cell was underground with iron bars and a sink across from her bed. A toilet between the wall and the sink which offered little to no privacy.
The room's walls were made of bricks and there was a small slit on the wall that gave a little sunlight. The cell was dimly lit and smelled musty and humid. It wasn't an ideal living situation but she understood why they locked her up. But she still didn't know why she was brought there. The Scouts suspected it was because Eren liked her but Yi didn't believe it. Of course she was hot. She knew that. But Eren didn't strike her as the type to fall for a woman because of her looks.
Several pairs of footsteps were heard down the hallway and Yi perked up. Captain Levi, Commander Hange, and Armin stood in front of her cell. Armin opened the door and the three stepped in.
"Yi, may we call you that?" Hange asked. Yi nodded. "Lady Kiyomi filled us in on your past and history. You are the last living descendant of the Qin royal bloodline?"
"Yes, that's correct." Yi said.
Hange nodded, "You have two choices, you can choose to stay here, in this cell until we decide what to do with you. Or, you can go with Lady Kiyomi."
Yi thought it over, did Eren bring her to restore her place as the Empress of Qin? The obvious choice was to go with Lady Kiyomi. Although she didn't want anything to do with her family's land, she wanted to end her blood curse.
"I'll go with Lady Kiyomi." Yi answered.
Hange nodded, "Okay, we'll get your necessary arrangements and Lady Kiyomi will come for you in a few days." The three turned to leave.
"Wait," Yi called. They stopped, "Why the wings?"
Armin looked down at the patch on his green coat. "They represent freedom. The symbol of the Scouts, it represents our goal of finally creating a world without walls."
"But...why does it feel so familiar? Like I've seen it before?" Yi asked.
"You've never stepped foot on Paradis until now, why would you know the Wings of Freedom?" Levi pointed.
"I know, but it feels like something that's been in my family before."
"Hmmm I've never met an Eldian of Eastern descent besides Mikasa but I bet Queen Historia could give us access to documents of people." Hange suggested.
"Really?"
Armin nodded, "We'll see what we can do for you Yi!"

The woman sang softly as her child slept. She brushed the child's hair comfortingly and continued to sing in her foreign language. It was a dead one that only few people left in the world could speak. She pulled the green cloak over the child.
The green cloak. One that held so much meaning to it. But one that held so much pain. A bitter reminder for the woman that the murders, the atrocities that she had committed was her fault. Of course, her husband always tried to convince her that it wasn't. She wasn't in control of what she did.
When she first ate a human and when she ate the next and the next. It was out of her control. But when she ate the nameless warrior everything came back. She was a human once again. A scared and naked human with only a brief memory of how she got there. She stumbled to the nearest tree, falling over as she wasn't used to walking so quickly with her new, smaller form.
There were no titans nearby. But she didn't know how she had become a human. Just two years ago she gave birth to her child. But the child was pried from her arms as the authorities took her away. She cried as the serum was injected into her system. To become a pure titan that never died unless killed. She would miss her daughter's life. She should have been grateful that she was now back to her normal state. She could go back home and watch her daughter grow up.
But she was stranded in a forest with high trees and no sense of direction. Is this Paradis? She wondered. The woman stumbled some more, feeling self conscious of her naked body. The sound of a horse was in the near distance. She froze and hid behind a tree. What would happen if she was found?
"Excuse me!" someone shouted. The woman jumped and turned around. A man on top of a horse stood tall and proud. His green cloak and blonde hair highlighted by the sun like a knight in shining armor. "Are you alright ma'am?" he asked.
The woman couldn't find it in her to respond so she slowly nodded her head. The man climbed down from his horse and unclasped his cloak. He put it over the woman's shoulders to protect her modesty, "It's okay. You are safe now. Come with me, my name is Erwin Smith."
Kinda like this chapter but it took me forever to write it Some of y'all have really good reading lists so imma just steal some of those
