A Tragedy I Was Born Into (Eren Jaeger x Reader)

Chapter Fifteen

(Eren's POV)

I ran to my dorm without saying anything else to (F/N). I ploped down on my bed with a ton of thoughts spinning in my head.

'Is (F/N) cheating on me? Does she really not like me?' I looked at the doll she had given me earlier and shook my head. 'No! (F/N) wouldn't do that! I trust her! I know she loves me!' As if on cue I heard a strange knocking noise coming from my window. I get up to open the window, but a letter slips in. I look around to see if there's anybody but find nobody. I sit down to read it. 'I wonder what's it about?' Silence filled my room as I slowly read the letter. My eyes widended at what I was reading, even tears threatned to pour out but nothing came. 'No...this isn't true. Non of it is true!'

~Third Person's POV~

Eren was mixed with all kinds of emotions. Anger, sadness, confusion, you name it. He got up and stumbled his way over to the men's restroom. He turned on his sink and washed his face, trying to freshen himself up.

~Flashback~

"Hey Eren!~" Petra cheerfully skipped towards the young brunette. He stood up and flashed her a smile.

"Hey Petra! How are you?"

"I'm doing fine. What about you?" Petra sat down on the stairs to take a quick break.

"I'm doing good. How's training?"

"It hard as always, but we're solidiers! We can take on anything....except (F/N) she's too strong and I don't want any broken bones" Petra chuckled.

"Hm...speaking of (F/N), have you seen her around?" Eren tilted his head questioningly.

"I think she's with the captain....those two are sooo in love!" Petra cupped her cheeks while squealing.

Eren froze at her words as his eyes widended in shock. "Um...Petra...what did you say?" Eren hoped that he misunderstood her.

"I meant- oh look there's (F/N)!"

Petra's words echoed in Eren's head. Of course he didn't believe what she said.....but...

"Eren?" Armin, Eren's best friend walked towards Eren with a bright smile. Eren put on a fake smile and greeted his friend. The two left the restroom to chat outside.

"Hey did you hear, we're gonna have an expedition in a month!" Armin announced. Eren was taken aback by the news.

"Really?" Eren asked

"Yeah. And the superiors are going to push us really hard during training....I hope the expedition turns out successful" Armin sighed and Eren noticed.

"Armin...what's wrong?" Eren asked genuinely concerned.

"Well...it's Tsubaki....you know how I told you I liked her right? Well um....how do I confess?!" Armin blurted out a hint of pink on his cheeks. Eren chuckled at his shyness and patted his head.

"Don't worry Armin. Just be natural and tell her how you feel. And....if you need a shoulder to cry on....I'm always here for you"

Armin smiled and thanked his friend before running off. Eren sighed and layed down on the ground and looked at the late night sky.

"(F/N)...."
