Nathan and Lexie couldn't stop thinking about what happened last night - were they about to kiss?  When they both entered their respective rooms, all they thought about was each other. Nathan couldn't stop imagining the way Lexie's pupils dilated when his eyes traveled down to her lips; her lips that appeared so soft and tender - so kissable. He just wanted to touch her lips, but all he could do was imagine.

Lexie, on the other hand, couldn't stop the butterflies that erupted in her stomach and her pounding heartbeat. She felt like she just ran a marathon, and she couldn't stop. She tossed and turned that night, picturing the intense gaze Nathan's eyes held as he stared into hers. His green eyes were the most hypnotic thing she's ever seen, and she couldn't bring herself to look away - neither did she want to.

The next day, Lexie and Nathan watched a movie in their living room in an awkward silence. The tension felt immensely palpable, Lexie could almost feel it nudging her. The struggle to sleep was clearly evident on both of their faces. Their eyes had dark circles around, and they looked like they were about to fall asleep in any minute.

Lexie cleared her throat. "So, you don't decorate huh?"

"You can decorate it if you want. I don't have that kind of talent."

"Oh," she paused - confused by the fact that he didn't have a sassy remark. "I guess we can just do something about the walls."

"Hm, pictures?"

"That could work, yeah."

Lexie pondered about the decorations for a second. "Never mind."

"What?"

"I said never mind."

"What's wrong?" He furrowed his brows and turned his body to face Lexie.

She chuckled, "Nothing. It's just- pictures can be pricey, so it'll just be a waste of money."

"Hmm," Nathan stared at the blank wall in front of him with his chin on his palm. "Ah! I could paint things and just put it there. Is that good?"

"You can paint?"

"Yes."

"Okay, that could work."

"Okay."

Lexie stood up and headed to the kitchen to eat something. She opened the fridge and was greeted by several unorganized groceries and ingredients. "May I fix all this?"

"Fix what?"

"Your painfully messy fridge."

"Ah, yeah sure."

"I thought you're a chef? Why so messy?"

"Honey, I'm just a cook," Nathan walked to her. "And I don't have time to organize things, it will get messy again anyway."

"It won't if I'm here." She said, winking as she closed the door of the fridge. She had an egg carton in hand and started to navigate through the cupboards. Nathan stood beside her, watching her move and not helping her whatsoever. She stopped and faced him with her left brow raised, "You cook."

"Thought you'd never ask." He grabbed the eggs from Lexie's soft hands and took a pan from the bottom drawer. "Scrambled?"

"Yes, please."

Lexie sat down on the bar stools in front of the kitchen island and watched Nathan's quick and certain movements as he made their breakfast. He grabbed a plate and 4 pieces of bread, then inserted 2 pieces in the toaster. He took some fruits and washed it before placing it in a bowl. After he beat the eggs, he started to finally cook. He set 4 pieces of bacon on the other pan, then seasoned the eggs. He seemed like a robot, handling different things at once. Lexie stared at him in amusement with a little smile on her face.

"Staring is rude, you know?"

She scoffed, "Then I guess we're very rude people."

Nathan froze for a second and turned to her, smirking. "I guess so." He went back to cooking, and Lexie stood up to play a new movie on the TV.  After a couple more minutes, Lexie heard the stove turn off.

"Your Majesty," he says as he set the 5 star looking meal on the counter.

"You made this?"

Nathan chuckled, "Unbelievable, I know."

Lexie sat in front of him and started to devour every inch of their breakfast, succumbing to the delicacy of the meal with every bite.

"So, roommate," Nathan started. "Since we live together now, I think it's only fair to get to know you, yes?"

"Certainly, roommate."

"Okay, roommate. I'll start of easy - what's your full name?"

"Lexie."

"Full name."

"Lexie."

"Second name?"

She paused, "Madison."

"Ahhh, last name?"

She didn't say anything. "My turn. I already know your full name, Nathan Anders-"

"Nathan Micah Anders."

"Micah?"

"Madison?"

Lexie chuckled and shook her head. She continued to eat her breakfast, and they completely ignored the movie playing in the background.

"Hmm. Micah, do you have siblings?"

"Yes I do, Madison. I have an older brother, he's called Rudy. He lives in Japan, so I don't really talk to him."

"Why not?"

"Because he lives in Japan?"

"No shit, Sherlock. I mean, what does Japan have to do with anything?"

"Everything. Timezone and whatnot. He's too busy for me."

Lexie nodded and Nathan unconsciously nodded in return. "Do you have siblings?"

"Nah, only child. I have a friend though, Jenna. I treat her like my sister, but she's still in college so I barely see her."

"Did you finish college?"

"Is this a job interview?"

Nathan laughed and noticed that Lexie's already done with her breakfast. He took their plates and brought it to the sink.

"I'll wash it."

"Huh?"

"I'll wash it. You already made the food."

He thought for a second, then nodded. "Okay." He sat on the couch on the living room and finally watched the movie, while Lexie washed the dishes. She wasn't really a big fan of washing dishes, but it's the least she could do.

Nathan went to the bathroom to take a shower. After Lexie finished the dishes, she opened the fridge and started taking everything out one by one. She looked around the kitchen to find containers, then began organizing.

After a while, the doorbell rang and Lexie closed the fridge. She washed her hands and didn't bother drying it. Nathan finished showering, then exited the bathroom to get a glass of water. Lexie turned to face him and noticed that the only thing covering his bottom half was a towel. His hair was still wet, and he had droplets of water cascading down his toned torso. Lexie widened her eyes and awkwardly coughed.  She opened the front door and saw the face of Louis, Leo and Joe. They were holding a bag full of snacks, and Louis' brows immediately furrowed when he saw Lexie - expecting to see Nathan's face.

"Hi," Lexie greeted. Their eyes widened inhumanely as they looked pass Lexie's right shoulder. She turned to check what they're looking at and saw Nathan standing behind her, still half naked and partly wet. She turned back to the guys and noticed them looking at her wet hands, then she started to piece everything together.

"No- No it's not what you think-"

Joe laughed and started to tease the two. "Well, you kids didn't waste any time, huh?"
