The bathroom door squeaked open, revealing a very disheveled-looking Nathan. His hair was sticking up in all places as he rubbed his tired eyes. It was clear he just woke up, and Lexie cleared her throat right before Nathan unzipped his pants to pee.
He stopped rubbing his eyes and turned to Lexie who was standing in front of the mirror with hair dye on her hands and hair.
"Holy shit," he whispered, his deep morning voice vibrating in every single one of Lexie's organs. "You actually did it."
"Oh, yes I did," Lexie brushed her hand through her bright pink hair. "I'm not done, though. Almost. Then I'll go let it dry and shit."
He stared at her for a second then sat on the closed toilet lid. "Looks great on you. I knew it."
"Pfft," she rolled her eyes as she applied more pink dye to her already pink hair. "You can go brush your teeth, I'll just move here."
Nathan grabbed his toothbrush, applied some toothpaste, and sat back on the toilet watching her. He looked in the mirror and noticed how messy he looked compared to Lexie, despite the fact that she was just wearing an oversized shirt and shorts. Nathan looked away from her long legs.
She noticed the way Nathan looked at her with a certain emotion behind his eyes. "What?" She asked.
"Nothing. You look cool," he smiled.
"I'm done," she wrapped her hair with cling film as Nathan rinsed his mouth. She turned to him, squinted, then looked at his brown hair. "Do you want me to dye your hair too?"
"What?" He blinked.
"Just one chunk," she grabbed a chunk of his hair at the front and started to brush it with her fingers while Nathan's breath caught in his throat. "Well?"
He looked at her for a second, then nodded. "Just one chunk."
Lexie clapped and immediately grabbed the dye from the counter. She held an inch wide of his hair from the front and started to dye his chocolate brown hair pink. She was so focused on dyeing his hair, she didn't notice the way Nathan stared at her. Or maybe she did.
After a bit, Lexie grinned at his hair and clapped again. Nathan turned to the mirror, fighting his smile. He raised a hand up to touch the pink part of his hair, and Lexie swatted his hand away.
"Don't touch it, Princess Bubblegum." She threw away her gloves and cleaned up her mess.
"Sorry, Wanda."
"Oh, by the way," she opened her bathroom door as Nathan followed him. "We're cleaning the apartment today."
"Why?"
"What do you mean why? Your apartment's all dusty." She swiped 2 fingers on one of the shelves and shoved it in his face. "See."
"Our apartment," he corrected her as he moved her hand away from his face. "When do we start, LazyTown?"
She sighed, "Are you going to give me nicknames throughout the entirety of my pink hair?"
He grinned at her, "Yes I will, Starfire."
She rolled her eyes, played music, and handed Nathan the broom.

"I wanna dance with somebody!" Nathan shouted as he and Lexie danced around the whole apartment, using the broom stick as a mic. They've been cleaning for two hours, constantly stopping due to -- according to Nathan -- "Important dance breaks and belting".
"I wanna feel the heat with somebody!" Lexie joined, shaking her head as she danced. She turned her makeshift mic, the handle of the mop, to Nathan.
