Lexie and her new-found "friends" arrived at Leo's apartment 10 minutes later, as promised. They entered the apartment complex and went straight to the elevator after Leo politely greeted the doorman. They landed on the 7th floor, and Lexie was faced with several similar-looking doors and a long hallway. Leo led them to the last  door on the left side. After quickly unlocking the door, the boys ran toward Leo's couch and jumped down to sit. What an entrance.

Leo turned to Lexie and pointed to the couch where his friends sat. "You can sit there." Lexie nodded and made her way to the couch opposite Nathan, while admiring Leo's big windows and high ceilinged apartment. "It's a beautiful apartment." Lexie complimented as Leo grabbed a box of beer from his fridge. Nathan laughed, making Lexie furrow her brows. "His girlfriend designed the whole thing. He doesn't know shit about designing." He threw a pillow to Leo, who unfortunately got hit in the face and almost dropped the beer. Leo threw the pillow back to Nathan, but he immediately caught it, much to Lexie's dismay.

"At least I have a girlfriend." Leo says as he placed the beers and chips to the table in front of them. Joe loudly laughed, mocking Nathan who rolled his eyes. Lexie grabbed the potato chip immediately after Leo placed it, making the other guys laugh at her determination. "So, Lexie." Louis began as he opened his first beer bottle. "How and why are you so good at shooting?" They all turned to her with curious eyes. Let the interview begin.

"Like I said, practice. A lot of practice." She utters with a small hint of something behind her voice that only Nathan noticed. Leo nodded, but Joe wasn't satisfied with that answer. "Okay, but why do you practice?" Nathan scoffed at his friend's question, rolling his eyes once more. "For fun, I guess? Or maybe, so I know how to kill a zombie when the time comes." Joe grinned and leaned forward, narrowing his eyes in seriousness.

"Teach me."

"Pay me." Lexie says, shrugging. Nathan chuckled as he handed Lexie a bottle of unopened coke. She murmured a quiet "thanks" when Joe quickly pulled out a 50 dollar bill, making Lexie audibly laugh.

Louis suggested for them to watch a movie, and after about 15 minutes of back and forth, they finally opted for The Exorcist. The guys sat down to find a comfortable position, Joe and Louis on the floor, while Leo sat on the other couch with Nathan. Lexie took another sip of her coke only to realize that it's already empty. Nathan seemed to notice this and asked Lexie if he could get her another. Lexie nodded and not even a minute later, Nathan returned with another bottle of coke.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome."

She was about to open her bottle when she noticed that Nathan sat beside her. She glanced at him in question, but Nathan was focused on the movie with a faint smile on his face. Lexie then decided to just eat, drink her coke, and watch the movie, trying her best to ignore the intoxicating scent of Nathan's perfume. She never enjoyed perfumes, but for some reason, she found herself liking this one.

20 minutes later, Lexie noticed Nathan's leg pressed to hers, making her heart rate speed up. She looked up at him, but he seems unaware of the journey his leg made. She was about to say something when Joe, Leo and Louis all shouted at the same time, scared. Lexie laughed, causing Joe to playfully glare at her. A couple of minutes later,  Nathan flinched at the jumpscare, which made Lexie chuckle.

"Weak."

"Excuse me?" Nathan whispers playfully.

"Weak."

"Scary."

Lexie laughed again, shaking her head. Nathan threw a pillow at Lexie, so she threw a pillow back. Nathan immediately dodged the pillow, hitting Louis in the face instead. Lou glared at  them and furrowed his brows. Nathan pointed to Lexie and she looks at him incredulously. Louis threw the pillow back at Lexie, making her throw it to the innocent Joe. He looks at her, holding the pillow. Lexie raised her hand up, so Joe threw the pillow to Leo, who was peacefully watching the unpeaceful movie. The cycle began, and they continued to throw pillows until Nathan finally gave up.

Eventually, they all stopped and resumed watching the movie. Lexie was sharing a bag of popcorn with Nathan when she suddenly flinched, hoping Nathan didn't notice it. She thought Nathan didn't, but her thoughts were contradicted by his chuckle. "Weak." He says, looking at her with a grin. Lexie playfully scoffed and mimicked Nathan's excuse from earlier, "Scary."

Lexie then noticed their surprisingly close proximity. With sheer banality, Nathan had his left arm over the couch's headrest, almost around Lexie's shoulder. Lexie turned to him, narrowing her eyes.

"What? You cold?" She asks, tilting her head.

"Huh?"

"Well, you're practically clinging to me so, it's either you're really cold, really scared or you really wanna hug me." The 3 boys heard what Lexie said, despite her slight effort to whisper. They began teasing Nathan and yet again, throwing pillows at him. The alcohol running through Joe's system made him shout as if his life depended on it. "I think it's the last one!" They all laughed and Nathan turned to face Lexie, smirking. "I just wanted rest my arm." Lexie nodded, smirking back. "Sure, whatever you say."
