Mae Wilde was originally from Phoenix, Arizona but moved to California when she was 6, because of the bad memories the town held. Her father, sister and brother all died in a car accident, but was saved by her brother blocking most of the force. When she moved to California she meet an annoying preppy girl. She was wound tight, with a perfect life with parents that loved her. All she had to do was snap her fingers and everything she could ever need was right at her fingertips. However the more the two were paired at school, they soon became close friends. They could not separate paths after that. Mae soon changed Ava to a girl that didn't care what other people cared of her. She could never stop thanking her for taking her out of her strict life, full of rules and standards she was required to meet.
Ava Robinson grew up in a rich household with both of her parents and getting everything she desired. She had a persona that was known as the rich kid but then soon met a girl that was sheltered from the world. Over time she brought the lonely girl out of her cave of despair and fear. Even though Anne's life seemed perfect her father would often come home with liquor on his breath and anger coarsening through his veins. He would storm through the house destroying everything in his path including his young daughter and wife. Even though he had domestically abused them both, her mother was too scared of disrupting her reputation and changing her social status to report him. So Ava and her mother Rene had to put on plastic faces and pretend like everything was okay. As high school ended she and Mae left as soon as they could and as faraway as they could go landing themselves in New York where they both went to college.
