Someone suddenly gripped my arm so I looked back to see and it was Gabriel.

"We have a lot to talk about!" Gabriel frowned.

"Hey hands off her!" Lyndon dropped the bags and grabbed Gabriel's hand off my arm.

"Oh sure you're with your...nevermind...forget about what I said. I'll see you tomorrow at work." Gabriel said in a serious manner and walked away.

"Hey! What is wrong with you?! Fine!" I shouted but Gabriel didn't even looked back.

*hmph* what is his problem anyway?! I should be the one who is angry in the first place...nevermind...I'll still see him tomorrow at work.

"Are you okay Jenn?" Lyndon tapped my back and asked.

"Yes, I'm totally fine!" I gave an assuring smile.

"Who was that anyway?" He asked.

"Uhmmm...just my boss." I responded.

"Your boss? He seems kind of familiar to me...I think I have met him before but maybe it's just because we are here in the same city afterall." He said.

"Nevermind him...I'll try to talk with him tomorrow...Let's go." I said.

He nodded then grabbed the bags and we started to walk straight to my apartment. We arrived several minutes later.

"Welcome to my apartment! Sorry if it's a little bit messy at the moment." I chuckled and opened the apartment door.

"It's okay...well if you need help with the cleaning I can help." He smiled.

"Thanks a lot!" I smiled back.

We came inside the apartment then I got the things that I bought and put the food ingredients inside the refrigerator then I put the other things in proper places.

"Just sit in the couch there and you can turn on the television...I'll just prepare snacks for us." I pointed at the couch.

"Okay then...just tell me if somehow you needed some help." He said.

"Sure, will do!" I responded.

He sat on the couch and turned the television on.

"Jenn what do you often watch? I don't have a clue on what to watch." He shouted.

"I often watch rom-com movies because it feels too light to watch." I excitedly said.

"I'm not a fan of romantic comedy movies but sure I don't mind watching." He smiled at me.

"Just tap on the menu and choose stream...Let's just watch on stream." I chuckled.

"Sure!" He said.

I cooked popcorn and put it in two separate containers and prepared two cola in a bottle then sat on the couch beside Lyndon.

"Here!" I handed the popcorn and cola.

"Thanks! Here you should pick what you want to watch." He handed me the television remote control.

I scrolled and scrolled until one movie title piqued my interest. I clicked it and we watched.

"By the way, do you live here in Serville?" I curiously asked.

"Yeah, near the calm forest." He responded in an instant.

"Oh right." I smiled.

"You can come visit some other time if you have time...I'll bring you there." He said.
