Chapter 1: Shocking You!

                     ~13 years later~

*BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!* The alarm rang.

"*groan* I hardly got sleep last night and I have to wake up early for work."

I got up of the bed still feeling drowsy and head to the kitchen to make my breakfast. Open up my phone a scroll for new messages but there is none so I go take a bath, brush my teeth, and changed to my work clothes. Nothing can go wrong right?

I got out of my apartment head out to a bus station and lucky there was a bus already waiting for passengers. I get on the bus and wait to arrive to my workplace.

             ~Several minutes later~

I got out of the bus when we arrived at my destination.

"Nothing can go wrong right?" I'm standing outside the building where I work as a personal assistant of the company owner.

Well my boss is very kind that he treats me as his own daughter. He have a son but his wife died several years ago.

As I entered the building I saw one of my workmate, Elie. She's staring at her phone shocked so I approached her.

"Hey Elie! What's wrong?" I touched her shoulder.

"Jen bad news! Mr. Jonathan Harp is now bed-ridden he is too weak because of some certain disease so he decided to hand the company to his son, Nathan Harp since he trained him to be a businessman too... so Nathan will be our new boss." She panicked.

"I hope Mr. Jonathan gets well soon...and RIP to ourselves because we will be having a hard time because of stupid no good Nathan." I frowned.

Nathan Harp is known for being a stubborn and perverted man... well there is no good qualities present in him. I frowned.

"Yup...but anyway we should get back to work. Cya!" She waved as she go.

"Okay cya too!" I waved back as I walk to the company owner's office. I saw Nathan with his feet on top of the desk.

"Well hello there Jenny... sleep with me or lose your job your choice." Nathan grinned.

"What the heck you pervert?!" I shouted angrily.

He got up and touched my shoulder but I resisted and I pushed him away.

"So its a no? then you're fired!" He said it with a smug face.

"What?! Seriously?!"

"You heard me right? Now go." that stupid grin appeared again.

"Well fine I don't really want to work for you anyway!" I shouted at him then get my things and rushed outside angrily.

"I'm so much stressed and angry right now! I can't think straight! Why would he fire me just because I don't want to sleep with him! Damn that maniac perverted fool! I did my job very well!"

I'm running angrily staring at a huge building nearby until I collided with a man and I accidentally lost control over my electrical power; literally shocking him.

"Oh fuck! I'm so—" before I finished what I was gonna say, he put a finger on my lips telling me to shut up and stood up like he wasn't hurt.

He grabbed my arms and dragged me to a nearby building where I stared at recently.

"Aren't you hurt or something? I'm sure you would have d—" but before I can finish talking he covered my mouth with his hands.

"shut up okay?!" He said as he dragged me further to a nearby elevator inside the building.

While we are in the elevator I'm very nervous to say anything asking myself a lot of questions. I'm sure with my electric power he should have died. He kept being silent; emotionless face was what I saw but even though my imaginations of him was running through inside my mind: handsome, how he looks perfect at everything, being intimately close, and we were going to kiss but suddenly it was interrupted when the elevator stopped (so much for daydreaming) in the 25th floor. He continued dragging me up to a nearby office.

"What the! Are you gonna report me or something! Please don't I have too much problems this day." I begged him but he kept quiet and opens the door then dragged me inside.

Ohhhh am I gonna get raped at this moment? Well then I might be as prepared. I acted like I was hopeless and gave up on resisting.

He closed the door and offers me to sit in the chair while he sits down in the swivel chair. Oh my expectation was wrong so I sat down hesitantly and I couldn't even look at his face I am looking down, above , left, and right while he was just being silent looking at me.

"Uhmmm... aren't you gonna say anything?" I nervously asked him.

*Ring*
His phone rings and he answers it while walking towards the corner of his office.

I am very curious of whom he is talking to because he kept being silent while I asked a lot of questions. Maybe he was gonna report me or something so I eavesdropped.

"Yeah dad? I'm currently in my office. Why dad? Something wrong?" He calmly said.

He frowned and I don't know why but I think there is a problem. Even though he is still damn sexy.

"Okay dad. I'll be right there later." He ended the call and his face became emotionless again.

I hastily but silently ran back to the chair acting like I was there the whole time doing nothing but staring at the empty wall but I think he noticed me eavesdropping somehow... I don't really know because he is somewhat mysterious.

"Hey you, Tell me who you are." He called me.

"Hmmp... is that the way of proper introduction? What's with the mood? Well I'm sorry for everything. Okay?!" I  shouted.

"Well then you can go. Forget about what I've said but be careful next time, if it wasn't me you bumped with, you would have killed someone exposing your power to them." He calmly said as he tapped my shoulder.

"Wait what? Aren't you gonna tell me anything?" I blinked and when I opened my eyes, I'm in the park behind a tree.

What the heck just happened?
