Chapter 34: Chased and Gone

It was a very horrifying experience that we could have been killed by those two since even the phantom one was impossible to deal with, what more if the other one attacked us too. Based on it, there might be a criminal group of exords existing. Even in movies and stories there is the heroes and villains present to oppose each other.

"Do you have any place in mind that we could go?" Lyndon said while running from alley to alley.

"We can go to my apartment it's near." I told Lyndon to go to my apartment for now because it might be safe; he quickly nods and head towards my apartment.

~Several minutes later~

We have arrived at the back of the apartment building where no one could see us then he turned back into his human form after I got off of him.

"Let's go inside quickly!" I said as we go to front of the building.

He followed me inside my apartment and as I noticed Jessie is still asleep.

"Uhmmm...so...you shouldn't be alone with a...guy...right?" He said in an awkward way.

"What do you mean?!" I said in a confused manner.

Then I realized what he meant and thinking about it suddenly made me blush.

"You know..." he said as he turned his back as he saw me blushing.

"No-no no...it's okay were friends and uhmmm...we are not alone...Jessie is right there." I said in a stuttering tone.

The silence was too loud as he turned around and our eyes met. Then in a sudden.

"Hellooo! Hate to break your romantic gaze with each other but someone is knocking on the door." Jessie said as she tapped my shoulder.

I came back to my senses and it was replaced by a state of being anxious because we might have been followed by the two bad people earlier. We didn't know that there was someone knocking on the door.

"You aren't going to open the door? Well I'll go open it." She added while walking towards the door but I got in front of her as fast as I could.

"No, wait...maybe it's them!" I said in a panicked tone.

"Who's them? And why your boyfriend is here?" She asked in a confused manner.

"Hi!" Lyndon said to Jessie with a forced smile for a moment.

"It's okay, I don't smell their scent nearby so it's safe." He added.

"It's a long story, Jessie I'll tell you later." I said as I walked slowly towards the door which someone still knocking.

I opened the door quickly while my other hand have an electric whip ready.

"Pizza delivery!" The pizza guy said.

I quickly dispersed the electric whip before he might notice.

"Uhmmm...I didn't order pizza." I said.

"Oh no, its mine, I ordered for us since I was too lazy to cook." Jessie said and grabbed the pizza boxes and closed the door.
