Chapter 7: So Much For a Day!

"What the hell! What do you want?!" I angrily shouted.

"It's obvious." He smirked.

"You!" He added.

I moved back in the corner.

"Come closer and I will—I will report you to the police!" I warned him.

"Hahaha I don't care! Try and call them!" He laughed.

I ran and pushed him hard enough to get through him. I ran further towards a mall crowded with people to get out of his sight.

Nathan that bastard, what is he up to now. Is he messing up my life and how did he know that— is he stalking me? What the heck does he want?!

I'm already in a mall, I might as well go grocery shopping here anyway. I hope he don't show up this day– no I mean for the rest of my life. I picked up some foods and some things that I need back in my apartment then I got to the counter to pay the things that I brought.

Hmmm... I got this far just by running and I would not do that to get back and especially not with that jerk lurking around. So I grab a cab and got me back at my apartment safe and sound.

It's a big day tomorrow my first day of my new work with my— uncle? Are we somehow related? I forgot to ask my dad since he told me they were old buddies. I just ask Mr. Knighte about that. I'm bored what am I gonna do for a while?

I sat down the couch and turned on the television. I changed from channel to channel but there is not a single one that piqued my interest so I turned it off. Oh no! I forgot to call mom when I arrived here yesterday, I might have worried them. I dialed mom's phone number. She picked up.

"Hello mom, I'm sorry I forgot to call you yesterday, I got tired so much that I fell asleep the moment I arrived." I groaned.

"It's okay Jenny, we know that trip is tiring. Take care of yourself there! Just call us anytime okay?" She replied.

"Okay mom thanks!" I assured then she ended the call.

It's still 5 p.m. what else I'm gonna do? Hmmm... I know! I searched about the person that teleports through walls; trending in the internet and I found a lot of articles regarding that topic. So! no one knows if that person is a man or a woman because the footage is somewhat blurry?!. What if its just edited by someone? What if he is— no no no! He does not exist, my mind just made that up and I just bumped on that tree all along. Yeah that was what happened!

~Several hours of nothing else to do~

I'm still bored and it is still 8 p.m. I might just cook something for dinner. Hmmm...Nah I'll go for instant noodles for now. I grabbed the cup noodle and put hot water on it then I head to the couch to watch television. I changed the the channel to another channel then I stopped when I saw a comedy show. I watched it and ate the noodles. I wonder what Jessie is doing at the moment. I kind of feel lonely and bored in this apartment.

*yawn* I'm kind of sleepy right now so I turned the television off then walked to my bedroom and lie down on my bed, staring at the ceiling until I fell asleep.

*Beep! Beep! Beep!*
The alarm sounded at exactly 6 a.m.

Gah! I abruptly awoken. Why is this alarm too loud to wake me up suddenly but it kind of help though. Mr. Knighte didn't told me what time should I be there. Well it's better to be early than late.

I cooked bacon and egg then ate it for my breakfast. I took a bath, brush my teeth, and wear a formal clothes for my first day of my new work. I got and out of the apartment and locked it then make sure that I didn't forgot anything. I walked to the bus stop and wait.

Yeah I know it's a boring chapter.
