Mia's P.O.V

Silently I sat in the green soft grass. Staring at the forest. My thoughts lost in memories and ideas.

"Hey" I heard a soft voice from behind me. Quickly I turned around, to my surprise I found a stunning little girl, probably 8 years old.

"Hey sweetie, what are you doing here? Are you lost?" I asked kindly. The little girl gives me a soft smile and stares at me with her bright blue eyes.

"No." She answers. It took me a couple seconds to say something because I was lost in her eyes.

"What's your name?" I asked in a soft mumbled.

"My name is Natalia." She spoke. When her red soft lips said her name a cold shiver traveled down my spine.

"Mia!" I heard someone shout from far away. Swiftly I looked away from Natalia in search of who was calling me. After a couple seconds I found Daron. At knowing that Daron was the one searching for me I turn around quick in look of Natalia but to my surprise she had disappear.

My eyes grow wide with confusion. Immediately I stood up from the ground, my grey eyes searched for Natalia but I found nothing.

"What are you looking for?" Asked Daron standing beside me.

"I am looking for a little girl. She was here beside me a couple seconds ago but she disagreed like an act of magic." I spoke as my eyes kept searching around in case that Natalia was hiding behind a tree or something.

"I didn't see any little girl. Sorry." Spoke Daron.

"Is okay. Is not your fault. I think I am just going a little bit crazy." I smiled at Daron.

"Why where you looking for me?" I asked Daron.

"I need to tell you something." He said. I notice fear in his eyes.

"Okay, tell me." I said smiling. I tried to give my best warm smile to make him more comfortable but it was a fail the fear in his eyes was to strong.

Daron stared at me as he took my hand he made me walk towards the forest. I felt my heart skip a slightly faster. Why was I scare? Daron is my friend I trust him.

Soon we were hidden by the huge trees around us.

"Mia....you are my friend and I really care about you. This is why I decided to tell you the truth." Spoke Daron softly staring at the ground.

I smiled and walked towards him slowly I used my hands to make him look at me.

"Daron, you are my friend and I trust you. Now tell me." I said keeping a smile in my lips.

"I.....I...am a vam...pire." Daron said in between breaths. A vampire. Tears were now build in Daron' eyes. In less than seconds I took my hands away from him I walked backwards slowly but a rock sitting behind me hit me making me full. But before I got to touch the ground Daron's arms where around me.

Daron took me in a hug. However I just fought to keep him away.

"Let me go, you monster." I shouted. I got out of his grasp. I saw tears in his dark eyes. But those tears where not going to trick me I saw what a vampire really is. Matt.

"I am not like Matt." Spoke Daron walking slowly towards me.

"Don't you dare to take a step closer. Stay away from me, I demand you." I shouted. I felt my whole body trembling in fear. Vampires terrified me since I was born and knowing that one was close to me made me want to close my eyes and die.

"Mia, I am Daron. You are afraid of vampires because is in your blood it runs through your family. But you can change it by remembering who I am. I am Daron your friend. What does it matter if I am a vampire I am still Daron." Daron cried kneeling on the ground.

"No, no, no. You are a monster without soul that takes people's life for pleasure." I shouted taking small steps away from him.

"I don't kill humans." Daron exclaimed.

"Tell me. Do you drink human blood?" I asked hoping that his answer would be no but how wrong I was.

"Yes." Answered Daron staring at the ground.

"Look at me while you say it." I shouted once again.

"I do Mia, I drink human blood. I am a vampire is the way I am, I was born this way." He spoke trying to safe himself.

"Why can't you be like Edward Cullen drink animal blood." I spoke.

"Because I am a real vampire, I am not a fairy like him. I don't sparkle." His answer could have made me smile if I was not scared and mad.

"Daron stay away from me. Never come close to me again." I spoke quietly staring at the ground I didn't want to see the pain in his eyes because it took me a lot of strength to say those words.

"No...no...no!" He shouted as he stood up from the ground and his arms grabbed me in a tight hug.

I felt the wild tears rolling down my cheeks. "Let me go." I shouted.

"Let her go." Shouted a small voice from behind me. Natalia.

In less than seconds Daron was flying up in the air a tree stop him but it ended up in breaking the tree.

I saw Daron laying in front of the tree with his eyes close and Natalia standing in front of him. Her pale hands had a bull of fire surrounding them. Every second that passed they got closer to Daron.

"Time to die filthy vampire." Spoke Natalia but this time her voice was cold and scary it made the hair on my back stand up with terror.

A cruel laugh came from Natalia and I saw the fire getting ready to destroy Daron.

Quickly I stood up from the ground and before I knew a white lightning ball hit Natalia making her fall in the ground unconscious. Without thinking twice what just happen I run towards Daron.

His neck was tight to some transparent red line that seem as if it was killing him slowly and painfully. Quickly I put my hand in top of his heart and started whispering some words.

"Malum obscurum EGO requiro vos dimitto is penuriosus creatura unus quod tutus."

With those words that came out of my mouth I saw Daron's eyes open. I saw Daron looked at me with a smile. But soon his face became a blur and before I knew I felt my body turn off into darkness.
