Basketball was awesome last night; Zane and I had a baller time. We also got to meet the Dean’s son, Aiden, and Logan his roommate and friend. Zane talked with Logan most of practice and I talked to Aiden. He’s cool. This morning I was almost ready, just needed to do a few more things and I would head off to Social Studies. I had my shirt on, just not buttoned yet. I was about to finish my letter to Megan about how school’s been. She’s been dying to know, and so is Ethan. Her boyfriend. I was singing a song that Megan had told me to listen to, let’s say it’s stuck in my head. It’s called Uncanny by Anberlin.

There was a knock at the door as I was about to comb my hair, but the brush got stuck. What the Heck? I didn’t put that much crap in it. I finally was able to pull it out and then I opened the door. Suddenly I don’t really know what happened; by when I opened my eyes I was on the floor with Kirsten. I looked at her beautiful eyes then I smiled. She looked so beautiful. I felt myself start to lean closer to her. With that the bathroom door opened.

“Get another room and next time you’re gonna do that in our room warn me.” Jabari muttered. Kristen quickly stood up handing me a letter, from Megan or Mom I presume, then she began to blush a deep rose color. “Erm, this was given to me accidently so ermm here.” And with that she was gone. I stood up and was shocked. What did I do? I hope I didn’t make her uncomfortable at all. Stupid Chase! Nice Job, best girl you’ve meet so far and you ruined it already! I groaned as I shook my head, with that Jabari left me to my thoughts. I was all alone and thinking of what I could do to talk to Kristen. I decided that I should read my letter before I head to class. So I quickly finished getting dress then I opened the letter. It read:

Chase,

Hey Buddy! So how’s Canada? Your mom really misses you, and so does Shannon. Hell, we all miss you!

So is this school all rich up tight people? Or is it full of bright sun shinny people like yourself? I really wish you were here!

I am tired of playing Ethan in basketball, he never lets me win! It’s unfair. It's even worse when Troy comes! So there have been a bunch of tourists lately, boring people too.

Huntington needs its surf champion back, too many tourists are taking the trophies. Grr! So anyway back to you! Meet any girls?

Friends? How about your roommate?? Come on Chase! Spill! Well I got to go. School is starting in a half hour, and I have to explain

to your groupies that you will not be there. Oh and Troy and Ethan say

‘Hey sup man? How’s Canada? Hot babes? Intoxicated yet?’

I laughed as I finished reading it, that was so Megan. I quickly grabbed all my stuff then I headed to first hour. Olivia was already there and ready. I sat down and noticed Soren wasn’t here yet. “Hey Olivia!” I smiled as she took her head out of her book, which is a different one from yesterday. She smiled at me, a nice big smile. “Hi Chase, how are you today?” Olivia asked as she smiled. She seemed much happier then she did yesterday. I wonder what happened between Soren and her. I’m going to have to ask him. “Well fine I guess.” I muttered thinking of this morning. Olivia looked a bit confused.

“Chase, what’s wrong?” Olivia asked as she turned towards me. I looked up at her and gave her a weak smile. “I will like this girl…..and I well….am not sure if she likes me anymore. She’s so pretty too, brown hair, green eyes, beautiful face……” “You’re talking about Kristen, aren’t you?” Olivia asked as she smiled. I was so confused, how did she know! Is it just written all over my face? “How did you know?” I asked as I slouched my shoulders. Olivia bit her lip “She’s my roommate Chase, and I’ve heard your name a few times come out of her mouth.” Olivia smiled as she patted my shoulder. “There is nothing to worry about Chase.” Olivia said as she looked from me to the space behind me. I turned around to see Soren walk in. He took his seat and I offered Olivia to switch seats with me. Soren was a bit confused about it, but he got over it. I smiled as the rest of the day speeded through.
