Chapter 5.4 - Aftermath

Kristen's POV

Date

We went to a fancy restaurant which was fun, we talked and laughed and all that stuff and got to know more about each other. Chase was so romantic and even done the whole pulling out my chair & giving me his jacket thing. He’s so cute, sweet, amazing and I think I love him. OK I know I love him and have since we met.

Afterward we went to Zane’s dorm and watched ‘Sorority Row’ it wasn’t very scary and I wanted to laugh the whole time but I acted scared just to cuddle up to Chase acting like I was scared. He was so sweet and just held me tight and stroked my hair it would’ve been romantic if there was no one else there. Although it wouldn’t have been as much fun, when we left Chase walked with me very slowly back to our dorms and we kissed goodnight. It was an overall amazing day & night.

Friday

 I sat up in my bed and yawned widely, thinking of the yesterday I smiled. I quickly got up and dressed. I glanced at the time – 10AM – and went next door; I knocked three times and waited. This time I made sure not to rest my head on the door glad I didn’t because Chase’s roommate opened the door.”Yes?”

“Oh, hi... ermm what’s your name?”

“Jabari.”

“Oh, right hey Jabari. Is Chase here? I’m Kristen by the way.”

“Hi Kristen, he’s in the bathroom.” I grinned like a Cheshire cat as an idea popped into my head.

I opened the bathroom door and tried not to giggle as Chase spoke up from behind the shower curtain “Jabari, you know I’m in here!” He paused “Don’t worry I’ll only be a sec!”

“Get out!” I shouted then I just couldn’t take it anymore and burst into a fit of laughter.

“Is that Kristen?”

“Look for yourself!” Jabari called as he walked out, I locked the door behind him & Chase popped his head round the curtain.

“Hi!” I grinned and threw his towel at him turning around. Suddenly I felt a pair of warm and wet arms wrap around me, I turned around and pressed my lips to his.

“Hello there.” He smiled when we eventually pulled away.

“You’re still wet.” I said then blushed when I realised how wrong that sounded. “I mean, like how you’ve just stepped out of the shower. Not the other kind. Just ignore that whole sentence, please.”

“I know what you meant don’t worry.” He grinned.

“Good, I’m gonna go now. ‘Cause your towel is about to fall.” I said pointing to the barely hanging towel around his waist then dashing out throwing his clothes at him. I saw his laptop open on his bed and checked it was on, glad it was I went on you tube and typed in ‘Fearless- Taylor Swift’. I clicked on the first video and paused it straight away, and then in the URL bar I typed ‘Listen to the lyrics, this is how you make me feel – Kristen xxx’ and left the room.

“Hey, Kristen.” Anna said from behind me making me jump.

“Sugar! You scared me! But hi.”

“What are you doing on Monday at 5PM?”

“Nothing as far as I know... why?”

“Well last night Daniel bet me 50 dollars that I wouldn’t go to cheerleading tryouts on Monday. I was wondering if you wanted to come along and try out with me.”
