"Lift it a little higher!!" I squealed as I used all my might to lift the huge flat screen TV up against the wall.

"Okay!" he chuckled as he lifted it higher with the tips of his fingers.
"I told you I could just do it myself-" he began to tease me again and I huffed in annoyance.

"I already told you, I don't want to have to depend on you or your abilities!!" I grunted as I rolled my eyes.

"I mean... It's not like other people will be able to see you needing my help..." he scoffed with a smirk and I double glared.

"That's not the point! Just help me lift the fucking thing!!" I growled and he just shrugged his shoulders and lifted the TV higher without struggle, effortlessly placing it onto the wall.

"Thank you." I sighed as I stretched upward, my spine popping in a few places, bringing me relief.
"No problem. So do you maybe want some pancakes? I was thinking about cooking something a little different for breakfast." he asked and I thought about it.

"You know what- Why don't we go out for breakfast today?" I asked as I held onto his arm.
"W- Well... You said yourself that we can't be seen together." he mentioned and I looked away, remembering are little issue.

Well- you can make yourself look different right?" I asked, coming up with a plan. He nodded with a small lip shrug on his face.

"As a different person? Or an animal? What?" he asked, kind of picking up what I was putting down.

"Oh? oh yeah! A different person absolutely!" I nodded with excitement.
"Can you like- Make yourself look like a more human version of yourself?" I asked, honestly curious.

"Uhm- Actually, I never tried. I'm sure that I can though." he replied with a smirk.
"Do it! Try!" I squealed and waited for him to perform his magic.

"O- Okay!" he responded before closing his eyes and focusing. After a few seconds, I began to witness his skin transforming into a more human skin color instead of the pale grey that I'm used to seeing. His eyes became lighter and his irises were a soft hazelnut color, instead of the dark black endlessness they usually are. His pale lips faded into a pretty pink, his midnight locks turned into dark brown and lively strands of hair. He even had a nice tan to his skin. His pretty brown eyes landed on my amazed and shocked ones. My jaw dropped.

"So?" he said as he turned his torso a bit, letting me see enough of his backside.
"How do I look?" he asked, a hint of anticipation in his eyes

"You look-" I began, my eyes still widened.
"-Amazing!!" I screamed with excitement and his eyes light up with satisfaction.

"Yes! The humanized Dark!" I smiled as I gestured my hands towards him playfully.
"Wait. Dark doesn't really sound like a human name though. People will definitely think you are weird." I groaned as I stroked my chin in thought.

"Well... How about- T- N- M- Mark!! Yes! Mark." he stuttered as he lifted a finger, I agreed instantly.
"Yeah! It rhymes with your actual name, too! So it will be easy to remember!" I shouted with excitement and he agreed.

"Okay, Mark~ Shall we go get breakfast?" I giggled and he nodded in response.
"Of course, madam." he let my wrap my arms around his bicep as we began to walk to the car.

As we made it to the restaurant of our choosing, we obtained so many stares from many people who were sitting inside.
"They seem to be staring at me, is my disguise not working?" Dark, now going by the name Mark, asked me with anxiety.

"Your disguise is perfect. I think they are just admiring how good you look." I whispered, giggling at him. His cheeks equipped a blushing red color as he averted his eyes from mine.
