I woke up, my face pressed into my cool pillows. I moaned with content as I stretched my legs.

I sat up slowly, the sun peaking into my room, through my curtains. I rubbed the sleep from my eyes as I tried to bring myself to consciousness.

I yawned as I looked around my room, an aroma of delicious french toast passed my nostrils.

He must be fixing breakfast!

I decided to get up and meet him in the kitchen. When swinging my feet around to meet the carpet, I noticed a folded note on my nightstand.

I leaned over to pick up the note and read it. It was a phone number. However, I don't remember collecting any phone numbers last night at the event.

"Good morning~" I slurred as I dragged my feet into the kitchen, finding Dark plate the french toast, three pieces for me and three for him as well.
"Good morning, sweets. Here you go." he greeted as he gave me a plate. I licked my lips, my mouth watering as I searched for the syrup, so I can apply it to my french toast. After applying the syrup, I instantly began munching as soon as sitting at the kitchen table.

"This is fantastic, Dark!" I groaned as I stuffed my mouth some more.

"Thanks, hun." he replied as he elegantly sliced into his french toast with fork and knife in hand.
"Also- Dark?" I called to him and he raised his brows at me.
"What is that number on my nightstand?" I asked and he nodded with a smirk.

"That lady, Kelly, you were talking to gave me her number to give to you, when you left for the restroom. She said she would love to hang out sometime." he explained and I lit up, folding the letter and eagerly putting it in my pajamas pants pocket.

"Thank you, by the way. You knew exactly what you were doing. And I thank you for it." I thanked him and he nodded with a smile.
"You are very welcomed. I just couldn't stand by and watch you fade into depression without your former friend around." he stated and I just scoffed.

"Yeah- yeah- I wasn't even thinking bout her..." I scoffed, knowing deep inside I was indeed lying.
"Sure- okay. It didn't seem that way, though." he chuckled as he glanced at me from the corner of his eye.

I smirked at him, my cheeks tinted red as I looked away. He then abruptly stood from his seat and that's when I noticed his french toast was devoured already.

"Woah- You ate rather quickly..." I muttered as I looked down to finish eating my meal.
"Yeah. I have to get back to my home-world real quick to take care of some things." he mentioned as he pushed his glasses up along the bridge of his nose, that's when I remembered what he explained to me yesterday night.

I nodded as he walked over to place his empty plate in the seat. He then walked close by me, resting his palm along my shoulder and giving it a gentle squeeze.
"I'll be back, okay. Be safe." he spoke and before I could blink, his presence vanished. I turned my head to where he stood beside me, yet he was long gone, the feeling of his palm lingering on my shoulder.

I sighed as I played with the food he delightfully cooked for me. I hated when he wasn't around. I used to be relieved when he left, but nowadays, the longer our relationship goes, the more I hated him leaving me alone.

Don't take forever, Dark.

I thought to myself, feeling utterly pathetic that I suddenly wanted a man around me now.

I decided to do my normal basic and boring tasks throughout the day as I waited eagerly. I did the laundry, washed the dishes, mopped the kitchen and bathroom floor, picked up around the place, etcetera to pass the time. However, he hadn't come back yet, so I decided to go and read a book on the patio balcony in my cushioned seat outside. As I flipped through the pages, the sun was beginning to set. The sky faded into pretty colors of orange and red as I sat in comfortable silence.

I decided to go and pour me another glass of wine, what I like to call my evening wine. I opened my fridge and launched straight for the pretty black bottle of Durif wine. I sucked my teeth in frustration as shook the bottle gently, realizing that there was only a few swigs left inside.

"I need to make a trip to go and get more." I sighed, making a mental note whilst shrugging and pouring what was left into my glass. I sat the bottle down gently into the trash before pinching my wine glass by its stem and walking back to my warm seat out on the patio balcony. It was beginning to get a little chilly considering the sun has set, so I grabbed my knitted blanket from my bedroom and wrapped it around my shoulders and then proceeded outside.

My hair was pulled up into a messy bun, and I had on my fave silk gown, my legs crossed elegantly as I sipped on my wine.
After taking another swig and relaxing into my chair, I felt that all too familiar sickening feeling in the pit of my stomach again. I knew instantly why and what was happening and my excitement overshadowed the nausea.

"It took you long enough, sir." I stated softly as his presence stood still.
"My apologies, m'lady. I did not mean to make you wait for so long, but-" he stated as he walked over to the chair beside me, sitting in it.
"-duty calls." he finished as he smirked sexily at me, my face grew hot again as I giggled in response.

"So... your vision is back?" I asked as I took another swig.
"Yeah. Finally." he replied as he leaned back into the chair. I scoffed as I glanced at him.
"That's ashame. Those glasses looked kinda cute on you-" I muttered with a playful smirk and he narrowed his eyes on me.

"I can wear em again, maybe when we roleplay." he snickered and my face heated up instantly, turning as red as a cherry.

"F-fuck you." I muttered.
"Anytime..." he chuckled in response and I glared at him.

"That is such a beautiful sunset." he commented and I smiled softly at his appreciation.
"Yeah. It surely is." I joined in.

I continued gazing at him as he stared intently at the sunset.
His pale skin reflected the sun beautifully, his onyx hair, and irises casted a rainbow iridescent glow, even more admirable than the sunset we were currently seeing.

"Everything okay." his deep sultry voice broke through my deep train of thought, his face very close to mine, a breath away.
"I- I'm fine." I stuttered shyly, my cheeks already hotter than normal, I averted my eyes from his timidly.
"Are you sure, you were just staring at me very-" before he could finish his sentence, I felt as if I was on autopilot. I grabbed him my the collar of his black hoodie and brought him into a deep, yet very passionate kiss.

He seemed very surprised at first, so shocked that he was stunned, but after a minute or so..  he finally responded by kissing back, moving his lips very suavely against mine. It was very odd, I felt so many butterflies in my tummy, my stomach fluttering in delight as I rubbed my fingers through his beautiful onyx locks. I involuntarily moaned into the kiss, my cheeks blushed once more before we suddenly broke the kiss for a breath of air.

"Wh- wha-" Dark began to speak before I shushed him with a finger to his lips.
"Don't ruin it. Just- let it be." I replied and he gave me another enticing smirk before finally sitting back into his seat.

Great. Now I made things awkward, I'm sure.

I decided the best thing for us to do now is just to sit and bathe in this wonderful moment and watch the sunset. We will care about where this leaves us- in the morning.
