It's been 2 weeks since I came home from the road trip and all of Hayley's things are gone. The first night I just sat in her empty room and wished that somehow this was all a bad dream.

I finally had her and she loved me and then Jen showed up and it all blew up. I am still racking my brain how that happened. I used protection with her every time. Even the last one when she claims that I got her pregnant.

I hear a knock on the door and I get up and go to open it, praying maybe it's Hayley. I open up the door and it's the last person I want to see.

"Hey Evie," Jen says throwing her arms around me.

"Hi," I say to her forcing a smile.

"I just thought I would come by and drop some of my stuff off since I'll be moving in here with you," she says.

"Jen, we haven't really talked about this at all," I say blocking her.

"You said you wanted this to work for our little peanut, so I just figured that meant us under the same roof," she says looking at me all sad.

"Fine," I say letting her come in. She lets me know there are boxes in her car that need to be brought in and I head down to grab them.

I finally bring up the last one and sit down on the couch. Jen comes over and sits beside me. "I told you Evie, we are meant to be and now you and I are going to be the best parents," she says putting her head on my shoulder.

A knock on the door startles me and I get up to get it. I open the door and see the person who I have been wanting to see for 2 weeks.

"Hayls," I say smiling for real for the first time since everything blew up.

"Hi I was wondering if you weren't busy if we could maybe talk?," she asks biting her lip.

I go to say sure, but I am cut off by Jen, "Heather what are you doing here? Did you forget that you don't live here anymore?"

"No I just wanted to talk to Ev," she says.

"Well sweetie he is a little tired from moving all my boxes into this condo. You know your old room is going to make the cutest nursery," she says giving Hayley a smirk.

"Oh you moved in already, well congratulations to you both. I am sorry to have interrupted," she says quickly turning around and heading out.

"I want you to tell security not to let her in the building anymore. She makes me nervous," she says holding me arm.

"No, she is my friend and she would never hurt anyone," I say.

"Fine, I'll do since I am living here now and want to feel safe."

I need to get away from her for a while. I grab my coat and slip on my shoes. "Where are you going?"

"Out, I need to go for a walk or something," I say slamming the door. I head down to the lobby and talk with the head of security and explain that under no circumstances is Hayley to be turned away.

I walk out the doors and my phone rings, "Fuck what now?" I say.

"Hello," I pick up the phone.

"Evan Aaron Donaldson, don't ever speak to me in that tone again," I hear my mom say.

"Sorry mom, it's just been a day," I say.

"Why did Carol call me and say Hayley moved out 2 weeks ago? I thought you two were finally together?"

"We were mom, something happened and I don't think I can fix this," I say.

"What happened?" she asks all concerned.
