"So, what do you think? Was it really just a dream I conjured up? Or—"

"Could it be a vision or like—a premonition? Is that even possible? That type of stuff only happens in books and movies, Princess."

"But how do you explain what happened?"

"It could just be a dream."

"I don't have a good feeling about this. And I wasn't there myself. It was Lady Iris."

"Why was Lady Iris in your dream though?"

Marinette spluttered, "I don't know that!"

"Tell me what happened again."

Marinette sighed, "There was Shadowbug. And you, along with Lady Iris. You two were wounded, like really bad, and Shadowbug somehow knew Lady Iris' identity."

"And how did you know that?"

"I—I don't know, she seemed to be 'friends' with me—uh—Lady Iris. And whispered something in her ear. It was all so very vague. And then—she seemed to know your identity too, she was about to say something to you, maybe reveal your identity but at that moment, I woke up."

"So cliche—"

"̶T̶h̶e̶ ̶a̶u̶t̶h̶o̶r̶ ̶p̶r̶o̶b̶a̶b̶l̶y̶ ̶r̶a̶n̶ ̶o̶u̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶i̶d̶e̶a̶s̶.̶"̶ ̶

 "True but not the time."

"She also seemed strangely repulsive of Darkbug. She hated when you, in the premonition, I shall say, compared her to the former. She said he 'deserved to rot in hell'. She said he ruined her life? I'm sorry, it's so vague. My head hurts every time I try to think about it, I wish I could be of more help but—"

"It's ok, little lady, you've done more than I could have asked for. Take some rest, Princess." He ruffled her hair and placed a peck on her forehead, feeling a bit more confident as 'Chat Noir.'

Marinette squeaked, flustered. Her cheeks turned red, a swift shiver ran down her spine. She exploded in a burst of emotions, red flaming up her neck, reaching her ears, obviously surprised by his sudden boldness.

Her reaction added fuel to the fire of his confidence.

"C-Chat—"

"You're so cute I couldn't resist, Princess~" He winked, sharp cat-like canines shining through his smirk.

If Marinette thought she couldn't get any redder, she was more wrong than Adrien assuming Kagami to be Ladybug.

She was so confident as Iris, why was Multimouse so flustered!?

Ok, at least try to act bolder. Maybe she'll even give him a taste of his own medicine.

She breathed out, trying to let her inner 'Iris' take over.

"Stop it, kitten." She said, smirking, "You don't wanna play cat-and-mouse with this mouse right here. You won't be able to take it~"

Grabbing his bell, she pulled him towards her, his mouth open slightly, and got close enough to graze his cheek and whispered slyly in his ear, with bated breath, "We don't want you to run like a scared little kitty, now do we?"

Ok.

Chat's soul literally left his being.

Marinette, on realizing what she had just done, pulled back hastily, squeaking again, her voice suddenly high-pitched releasing apologies on apologies upon her leather-clad partner, the latter shocked but embarrassed at the same time, reassuring her with just as much shyness.
